I don't know what I was even expecting, and I really only ordered it because I LOVE the Black Label formula, and I was really excited to see something light and spring-y come out in it.

I got my package today and it was love at first sight! It is light, pretty opaque and a truly neutral pink, I think. I imagine this will look gorgeous on pretty much everyone.

I just got it, and I think I'll have to swap, it is too pink for me (it turns kind of 80s salmon colour on my lips )
Not that it's not pretty, just I don't think that there's anything everyone can wear (I can't wear cultured either, I think I must be a weirdo lol!)

Nah, not weirdo at all, hehe. Sweet Nothing made me look like I was casted in Reality Bites and it looks gorgeous on you and others, like my friend who ended up with it.

No, you don't have weird lips.

As time passes, I really am starting to notice what looks good on others. Eventually, you start to get an idea of the shades that will work for you. I have to admit, I threw out lots of lippies that were the wrong color for me in my pre SN days. I think this is pretty standard for the cosmetics industry...there really is not a universal color even though there are some that are close. Plus, I imagine the more natural nature of the glosses has a slight effect on the color stability, but it is a good trade off.

I know I have a hard time with pinks myself, but they look so lovely on others. Best Friend is peachy pink on me and kind of like what lilychemgirl described, but it is my favorite formula, so I will wear it anyway.

I have certain colors I can't wear. Best Friend is likely to be one of them, a shame, really. Anything that is too bright, I think looks awful on me, next to my uber-fair skin. I can wear more neutral pinks like Eternal, Bobbi, and I can pull off Black Dahlia because of the black oxide in it (it tones it down!), but Berry Nice would never fly! I can wear Aria, though- and I think it's because there's some brown in it, and a touch of red.

Another thing I can't wear is salmon.....Mirabelle is absolutely a no-go for me. I can wear Prelude if I tone it down with some Swank.
