It's a pretty nice brush. It's firm, and relatively dense- about like our regular kabuki, but not as dense as our Ultimate Flat Top. For the price it's a very nice backup brush, or a nice introduction to synthetic brushes. I have one in my travel bag. The Ultimate line has a special kind of bristle- they're more pricey because no one else uses that sort of fiber, but I love them both. I don't think anyone would be disappointed with the white flat top.

it's about the density of a synthetic kabuki (the ultimate line of bristles, which i lurve- even my paintbrushes have that kind of bristles). If you're going for super heavy coverage, it won't get you there, but it's great for light-medium application or light buffing.

Just tried the white flat top today for my medium coverage SN foundation.
It does give a smooth and even coverage with minimal buffing. I like it.
Dries quickly too, as the hairs aren't too dense, but work well enough for foundation.
I might purchase another one :D
