Dear all,
just some bugging question for me, I have all the perfecting powders from SN and I love their textures but the thing is after applying i seem to have more oil on my face. What can I do as I wld love to apply them on its own or as a finisher.
Hope to hear from you gals...
Thanks in advance.

I am wondering if the Oil Control Powder or Oil Control Blur might work. If you did not want to add steps, you could always mix.

Emmy,
I have the same problem. Jen is right, one of the oil control formulas helps a lot! Though on their own, I find they are a bit drying for my skin, especially during winter. I don't normally have time to layer on the finishing powders, so I got an empty jar and mixed my own. I use equal parts of perfecting powder, zinc powder, and oil control blur (usually 15 scoops of each). To that I add 10 scoops tempt tryst and 5 scoops crystal, to give it a little bit of color, but not add too much sheen.
I think that the reflective elements of the glows and some of the perfecting powders when paired with oily skin look too glowy, especially after an hour or two! So cutting them with some of the more non-reflective powders seems to work for me. Hope that helps!
ETA: In the summer, I add oil control primer to my foundation mix...it helps!

Hi Jen,
thanks for your reply, I did use the blur powder and realise that it has the same effect, not sure why though.

I am one lazy person..hahaha...hate mixing cos I always forget what did i mix it with but now have learnt to lable them sometimes. I shld give your recipe a try and see how it works. I really like the look of all the perfecting powders but when I apply them directly it just doesnt seem to stay on my face or it turns greasy. Thanks for ur reply dearie.
