Hi I was wondering if someone could tell me which of the serums shoud not be used at the same time as the aha and bha toners? I know super serum is one of them. Are there others?

Oh, I keep meaning to ask (rather than find out in a painful way): is it OK to use serums after manual exfoliation?

Totally. IMHO that's a great time to use them on fresh and delicate skin. BUT there's a good chance that it might nip or sting momentarily, especially if using the more potent serums. I slather on a couple pumps of trusty GT&A serum first, give it a few seconds and then add a dose of whatever I'm needing next (usually Super Serum, or VitC+peptide).

Any skincare therapist will tell you that you must always follow an exfoliation with a mask, but broadly speaking, it's to ensure that your skin cells are deeply hydrated and protected. Serums are ideal and finishing with a good moisturiser is really important, too.

Whew, good to know! Thanks. Sometimes I try to do a mini facial with multiple cleansing and exfoliating steps, but often when I have no time to wait for the acids to work, just scrub and go (that is to the next step of the routine, not out the door).
