Wish List Feature: Organization

Post by zeebs » Mon Jun 30, 2008 11:19 am

Okay, maybe I just have an extreme problem, but help me out...

I currently have a four-page wish list. It's not that I plan to actually purchase 40 items, but I like to have all my prospective shades in one place so I can revise the list, KWIM?

The problem is, I can't figure out how to, say, only look at blushes, or only look at eyeshadows on my wish list. I'd really like to be able to do the following things with my wish list:

1. Sort by product type
2. See all products on one page "Page 1, Page 2... See All" feature.

If I'm missing something, please tell me... otherwise, could you look into adding those features?

Thanks!

That sounds cool! I'll check with our coder...it may or may not be possible. I know we just got the packing lists to print by category, and that was a bear of a process- but it may be easier now that we have a system in place.

i like that idea too zeebs. If it makes you feel any better, i organize my shopping cart too. I don't like it all jumbled so sometimes i'll empty it all out and then go add the lippies and then go add the shadows, etc. just so it's organized. That's just me being OCD though...lol

Hi, Rhys! Yes, there are things I haven't got. I have a ton of perfect liners for me, so I only have a few from SN. Several lippies, I haven't investigated, & raves do not sway me...remember, I'm the one who looks *dead* in Birthday Suit & Mulberry Spice. I'm actually better off buying *before* reading ANY reviews on colors; I can judge whether a color is different enough to add to my ridiculous collection. Still...I buy *enough*, ROFL!

I always kind of wish there were a list of what I already HAVE or a way to mark what I've bought. Some colors I don't wear for awhile and then I have trouble remembering whether or not i already have them...

oooh ooh I totally agree with Sam!
I thought I was the only one with a problem remembering what I have!
So, what I do is open at least two or three web browsers.
One has my current order
another one or two for color comparisons
and another one or two with my account purchase history for past orders :D
Only problem is mine doesn't go all the way back to last year and those are normally the orders I can't remember :x

An online tarot boutique where I shop has that feature and it's cool - next to the deck, you have buttons to add it to your

a) Wish list
b) Collection list (the list of decks you own)
c) Shopping cart

There must be a way to do it with MMU - we're at least as compulsive as deck collectors!
