Hi! Just for fun. What
- eyeshadows
- blushes
- lip colors
do you think would look good on me?
I'm planning an order but i don't know what i want. I like most colors, both bright and neutral. I don't like sheer lippies or over-the-top glittery things, i prefer subtle shimmer och mattes. I love red lips.
Some pics to get an idea of my complexion.
Thanks!

Hi! I can't help you much because I am also new to SN, but maybe browns? Purples? Peachy-pinks?
Your eyes are AMAZING by the way!

For eye shadow you need Boom. For blush, I always say start with Petal for us paler ladies, it looks like it would be your natural flush. And for lips, can't go wrong with Cultured. To top off the natural look I say throw in a sample of Perfecting Powder. I also want to put eye liner on you for some reason but I can't decide what would go best with your bright blues....Hum, maybe a pinker eye shadow or liner? Humm, someone else will get that right

Definitely get Crimson if you like bold red lips - it's a clone to MAC's Russian Red.
For eye shadow, theorically coppers, golds and other warm brownish shades will work great on you as they are opposite blue, but I'm thinking greys, and plums would be gorgous as well. I think Velvet would suit you very well - it's a coppery brown plum.
You can't go wrong with soft peach or pink shades for blush. I'd say Stellar, Flare, Lady, Flirt or Stardust. Gemini or Cosmic for a brighter look. It's a good idea to start with samples for blushes. They'll last you at least a week.
Have fun!

I'd add Sultry and Hot Blooded to the red lippies. Sultry, especially. I have problems with Crimson - I'm pale with pigmented lips and it's OTT - almost magenta - on me. Weird, cos I'm cool-toned. Sultry I think would look good on almost everyone, and it lools like it'd match your skin tone nicely. Rapturous would probably be good on you, too.
Nectar is nice and not too sheer, Vintage is a gorgeous merlot colour (in the wand glosses), and Copper Rose is another nice one - they're not sticky and those aren't sheer. Summer Fling is another good one, toned down somewhat but not sheer.
For blushes - Flirt, Stellar, Stardust, Tart Light, Lady, Desert Plum, Carnal with a very light hand (and a fibreoptic brush) would probably all look good on you.
Eye shadows - go nuts. Maybe start with the Mixed Metals?

Seconding Crimson and Rapturous, and I also vote for Reddy.
If you're looking for a nudish lip, Cultured or Centerfold would be nice.
You might like Bobbi or Figment too, great plummy neutrals. Fashionista too.
For blushes try Petal (my current light fave), Tart Light (trust me, with FO brush it gives a gorgeous hue), Stellar, Carnal and Desert Plum.
Eye shadows: you should get some golds and light bronzes aside from the usual recommendations. Boom is great, and so is Purr for one wash lids. Mixed metals does sound like a good idea: I wear Heather and Burnished a lot. Idolize is a gorgeous grey/taupe/neutral. You could also add Hint and Opal for highlights - your eyes would look nice in pinkish/lavendarish/purplish colors. So much to choose from: maybe start with a color group?

I have a sample of Petal, and you're right about how natural it looks, (maybe it looks TOO natural?

) It's not bad, but i prefer Tart light. I think I need a matte peachy blush also. Maybe Stellar or Flare? Carnal looks interesting, i think i'm getting a sample of it too. I love samples!
Eye shadows can be tricky. I have always heard that brown makes blue eyes pop, but most browns aren't too flattering on me, and i don't know why. My eye color varies from dull light grey to bright blue, depending on the light. I have Nekkid and find it very wearable. Boom looks great. I wear light greys and nude colors most of the time, and i think i want something else this time. Which green/blue/purple/orange would be the most wearable?
Cultured looks like a pretty my lips but better-color, it's on my wish list now. I also liked the way Raptourus and Reddy and Vintage looked on the swatches

Does SN have any lipgloss/lipstick similar to this color:

Some pretty purples are Escape and Pop and a pretty pink might be Quiver, it's a morphing shadow. It has flecks of gold that can be seen depending on which angle you are looking at.

I think Idolize will be pretty on you as well and maybe Slate or Carbon for a liner shade.

Such beautiful eyes and skin! I have blue eyes that shift between blue, green, and gray too...so it's hard to predict what eye shadow color will look good with them! My favorite purples are Breathe and Bewitched. Both are shimmery, but really flattering at the same time I think. Both my mom and cousin have coloring similar to yours (blond hair, blue eyes, a bit cooler toned though) and Breathe makes their eyes look so fresh and awake! Does for mine too. Bewitched is probably my favorite SN eye shadow, it looks great by itself and also blends well with some greens, grays, browns, or when I'm feeling really colorful, bright turquoise!
My favorite SN blush is Satisfied, looks peachy toned on me, though I think it's listed on the site in the neutral category. I have to use the fiber optic brush with it though or I end up with clown cheeks!

Satisfied is definitely a warm-toned blush. Desert Plum isn't supposed to be, but it looks really warm on me for some bizarre reason. Carnal works well, Desert Plum doesn't. Perplexed here.
For purples, I really love Pop, Breathe, and don't forget Intergalactic! Velvet is a gorgeous purple-copper liner or crease colour, too. Plush is great too, but it's more copper and less purple - still, it's a nice mix.
Haven't had a chance to try Dreamy or Heather yet, but those are on order. And I suspect Iris will be quite nice too - that one's a matte.
