i recently received seedy (now dc'd) in a swap and also pulled out my old peach melba, and i have fallen in love (all over again) with the original kisser slicker sheer formula--no sparkle, just "a jewel-like wash of color" as described on the swatch page. with all the talk of pink lippies for valentines day, i've found myself really wanting a light pink sheer original kisser slicker. i love the feel and the slight sweetness of the formula. i'm thinking a color somewhere in between damsel and soft--i tried damsel once and thought it was too bright. i love bloom--i wouldn't mind it recreated in a sheer (no sparkle formula).

Packgal!
You and I think exactly alike!! I have said the exact same thing on a bunch of threads!!! LOL! I love that sheer formula, its my favorite and I keep saying that I would love bloom in that sheerness! Too funny!

Damsel is also too bright for me. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for V-Day!!

I love them too...but they're made from just pure dyes. Dyes are wonderful because they're very concentrated, and you can make them absolutely sheer BUT there isn't really a way to lighten them and still make them sheer. I keep playing around with it though...I'd love a sheer girly pink too. Hmmm.....
What about Soft? That's about as close as I've been able to come.

Karen,
Do you think you will offer Peach Melba again? The swatches look awesome. Are there any colors like it?
I do like soft, easy color to wear and looks very natural.

Oh that is very interesting about how the sheers are made. Is it that the dyes are all very dark? Do any of them come in a shade like Centerfold or Modern Poet so that on medium pigmented lips it might look light pink? I have soft and like it alot but it looks dark on my lips. I also have berry nice and sheer nothing and love them too but would just like a light color for fun!! Thanks for thinking about it!

They are all pretty dark and super concentrated. They come in the same colors as Kool-Aid, Jello, or food coloring- they're essentially the same thing. Still pondering because now you have me wanting one too....
