Dry, sensitive skin - serums? Moisturizer? Toner? Cleanser?

My skin is dry and sensitive. I have enlarged pores on my nose and parts of my cheeks. The nose also have black spots.
I have never taken much time to good skincare but turning 30 I suddenly feel the need to start.
But I feel I need a little help. I have always found it comfusing with all the creams and bottles...There is serums and toners and cleansers and so on...
Need suggestions on what product to use and some "dummie-instructions"; what do I use? When do I use it? What goes on first? and so on.
Would like my skin to be hydrated and would be very pleased to elliminate the black spots and enlarged pores. Is it possible to also smooth out the fine wrinkles, espesially around the eyes? Think a huge part in this is that my skin is simply too dry!
Thanks for helping!

Probably the Apricot Cleansing Oil would be a good choice, especially if you're already dry. It's got an emulsifier in it, so it does rinse off easily. It's amazing for de-gunking pores.
Follow that up with the Pore Refining Toner, which is really hydrating. Let it dry before you go on to the next step.
Optional: Facelift or Super Serum. I like both of them, and both have benefits for dry skin. If wrinkles are more the problem, I'd probably go with the Facelift. If you can, let it sit for 15 - 20 minutes for maximum benefit before you do anything else (not always possible in the morning, I know - but you'll still get some good out of it).
Oatmeal is the most hydrating of the hydrating serums and that would go next. Let that dry, and then...
Moisturisers: sample! For really dry skin, I'd recommend Daily Defense, Firming, Intensive, or Emu.
You'd probably also like the Honey and Oatmeal mask once a week or so. For exfoliation, I find that a regular washcloth or a facial loofah is plenty enough for me, but if you like something scrubby, you could try the microdermabrasion cream once or twice a week.
Hope this gives you a starting point at least.

Thank you so much Rhys!
Some added "dummie-questions":
After the apricot cleansing oil, do you dry your face before the pore refining toner or does it go on a wet/damp face?
Do you meen apricot cleansing oil - then facelift, wait 15-10 minutes - then oatmeal serum that also has to dry - then some of the moisturizers that has to sink in - then makeup?
My good

if this is the time scincare takes, no wonder my skin is in trouble

Did I mention I´m a mother of two little toddlers?
Really appriciate the help!

LOL. Okay. Morning - use the Apricot Cleansing Oil, rinse it off and dry your face. Then spritz on the pore refining toner and give it a minute to dry. Then the oatmeal hydrating, give that a minute to dry, then moisturiser. If everything doesn't completely dry, don't worry about it.
After you put the kids to bed, you can take a little more time and add in the Facelift after the PRT. If you can, give it five minutes before you go on with the rest of your routine. I think with the Apricot Oil and PRT alone you'll notice a big difference, and maybe you could start with those two and a moisturiser. I'm just thinking if you're really dry, the extra boost from the hydrating serum will probably help a lot, too.

hi carro, i also have dry skin with large pores and blackheads. rhys has given you an excellent starting point. i really recommend sampling anything with "actives" in it if you skin is sensitive. i didn't think my skin was sensitive until i tried several of the serums and moisturizers. i am quite sensitive to the facelift and super serum, and a little to the firming and intensive moisturizers, so i would definitely sample those. it's probably best to sample everything actually; but stuff like the cleansing oil and the oatmeal serum are pretty gentle.
in addition to what rhys said above, i use the KISS cleanser after the cleansing oil if i am wearing a lot of makeup. after you get comfortable with the above, i would recommend adding a BHA and an AHA toner if possible. these have been the best things for me as far as helping my enlarged pores and blackheads. i use them every 2-3 days (put them on after cleansing, wait 5-15 minutes, then continue with your routine). the pore refining toner didn't do much for me, but some ladies really love it so it is worth a try. i also do like the microdermabrasion cream--my skin feels sooo soft and hydrated after i use it (which is about once a week--i put it on after my cleansing oil, then wash it off using KISS--it helps me get it all the way off).

I have 2 young children too and I know how hard it is to get enough sleep and finish the chores let alone take time off for skincare. But SN products are really easy to use and Rhys has given a really simple routine that is similar to mine (though I have combination skin). I use Hemp Moisturizer instead of Oatmeal. Also, massage the Apricot Cleansing oil on your face to remove the gunk from the pores. As for masks, I apply them, go about my chores (the masks would have dried) while it dries.
Happy experimenting.

Thank you for all your help, think I´ll need some adjustment time while I´m experimenting, one step at a time. My current routine is evening: cleanser then moisterizer, in the mornings no water or cleanser just some moisterizer and then some makeup...
We have had really cold weather for several weeks, around -5 farenheit/-15 C, so it is really painful to go outside if you have washed your face in the morning. I often shower in the evenings aswell. The cold weather does not help my dry skin!
I´ve had an allergic reaction to a toner ones (not from SN) and my face got all swallen, I don´t handle purfume that well either...
Probebly start with a dussin of samples!

I'm all about the space heater in the bathroom. I found one for $7 which is, admittedly, not rated for use near water. So I stash it away in a secret hiding place when I'm not actively using it... but yeah... highly recommended.
