Clear Lip Gloss with a hint of sparkle

That's what I'd like. A company I don't like to do business with put one out as a limited edition last Christmas - and it rocks, I have to say. It comes with a wand, but it'd work in a pot, too - can't really see it as a solid but it's wonderful to layer over lippies that are a little too matte - helps bring them to life - or it can be fun all on its own.

Have you tried Burt's Bee Radiance? cuz that's in stick form like Karen's so you could test if it would work for you in a stick or not...

They don't have Burts Bees here, Sam, at least not much - no lippies. All I've ever seen is the toner (and it's evil - the alcohol smell nearly knocked me out).

lol. no burt's bees?!?!? :gasp: lol. They make slim tube lippies kinda like Karen's with a peppermint flavor and some shimmer. (Not nearly as great a selection but the clear shimmer request made me think of them right away.) Does Walgreens deliver to you? (i forget if your in CAN or the UK since you were in the US for awhile and then moved a couple months ago, no? lol)
Walgreens: http://www.walgreens.com/store/product. ... rod3133437

Ebay: http://search.stores.ebay.com/burts-bee ... 18Q2el1248

Hopefully Karen will consider coming out with one soon but I thought you might like to try one in a stick and see if it works that way or not or for you. Good luck!

I like the toner but i have the one they don't make anymore(Wild Lettuce) and wasn't an alcohol smell- smelled exactly like lettuce. They discontinued it though and only sell it as a facial bar now.

It's really not worth it to buy it off ebay to me - and no, Walgreen's doesn't deliver outside the US.

And it's really NOT been my day with internet shopping. Don't ask.

But thanks anyway.

Hi,
On the shimmer- when you rub your lips together can you feel the sparkle (like with Gold Blush)- or is it smaller particle?. I'm keeping mum about a lot of things right now...but let me know about the shimmer.

I'd say it's about equal to Gold Blush, actually. I will find it yet - it's got to be rolling around in the bottom of a suitcase - why do I hide these things on myself?

(That was rhetorical.)

Burt's Bees is ecccchhh compared to SN. It is too waxy and is kind of opaque in a bad way.

I would love to see a sheer glitter SN lippie. I think this could combine well with the copper color I requested in another thread - maybe you could do two in a special edition, both sheer, one with silver/white and one with gold/copper?

zeebs- I agree SN does top BB. I really like the peppermint flavor but for me, it was the color selection that was the dealbreaker. I have almost all of the SN lippies and only 2-3 of the BB ones. I like them... but not as much as my SN ones. lol. I am a BB lipbalm addict though. i am never without it. I tend to like my lipbalm on the waxier side. The only other ones i can use have a conglomeration of butters in them that i've only found at 2 companies (Dark Swan and epli). So hard to find good balm... (that said my mom HATES burt's bees lip anything because she hates peppermint. lol)

I second the request for 2 different shimmers: 1 silver, 1 gold ;)

rhys- it sounds like the fairy godmother of makeup just might be listening. then, you don't have to hunt one down OR dig out your old one. lol :) Bad day internet shopping? What happened- i've had those and they SUCK

The BB peppermint is such a polarizing issue...I have some friends who love it, others that can't handle it. I go back and forth with the peppermint idea- but maybe clear with peppermint might be fun.

Gold shimmer, copper shimmer (I'm thinking kinda sheer on this one, and maybe something with more pigment later on...I tried a straight copper today, and just couldn't nail it), just plain old sparkle- no problem. I'm not sure if they'll make it into this round, but they're officially on the list.
