Bohemian, I am by no means an expert on skin care, but I can tell you what has been working for me on my 41 year old skin. I can't suggest a cleanser since i don't use any Karen has available as I find the KISS cleanser a bit too drying for my skin (dry all year, especially winter). But if she ever comes out with a cream cleanser I'll be the first to buy it.
I can suggest one of the Vitamin C serums - either the Vitamin C Peptide or the Facelift Vitamin C, DMAE and Peptide. In fact your Mum could even use both - one A.M. and one P.M. Both are great for wrinkle fighting and aging. For moisturizer I love the Intensive Moisturizer as I tend to have dry skin, but the Firming Moisturizer is almost the same if dry skin isn't a problem, and both have firming, tightening and anti-aging ingredients too. This chart Karen made is a useful starting point for the skin care range:

I'm sure other experts will be along to also offer some suggestions. But really you can go wrong with pretty much any of Karen's skin care range, and it's great to be able to sample everything first. HTH.

does your mom have skin care basics that she likes, like cleanser and moisturizer? if not, i'd recommend samples of the KISS cleanser and apricot cleansing oil. i bet the intensive or firming moisturizers would be great as they firm and help with wrinkles.
as far as serums, i agree with aden about the vitamin c peptide or the facelift vitamin c, DMAE and peptide serum. you could try the super serum as well. lots of women have liked the facelift and super, but i really recommend getting samples of everything. i tried to get my mom (in her mid 50s) the facelift and she was very sensitive to it (made her skin red and burn). she had a similar reaction to the super serum, but can use the vitamin c and peptide with no problems.
you might also want a sample of holy crow. it is a lovely eye cream. i bet she might like the microdermabrasion cream too.
(remember that you shouldn't use the super serum with any BHAs or AHAs at the same time, and if you put on one of SN's moisturizers over a serum, it's best to wait a bit or just pat it on, so it doesn't ball up).

I don't really have anything to add to what has been suggested, but I can repeat.
Cleanse: Try Samples of KISS Cleanser and Apricot Cleansing Oil. (I recommend a foamer bottle for the KISS cleanser or it can be a little on the strong side unless you use the tiniest amount.)
Tone: Try the Pore Refining Toner
Treat: Try samples of the Facelift and Super Serums (yes, the Super Serum should not be used at the same time as AHA or BHA products.)
Moisutrize: Try samples of the Firming or Intensive Moisturizer.
Since it is not a good idea to start too many products at once, I suggest starting with the cleanser and moisturizer...then add in a treatment...then add in a toner. Eventually, she might want to add in the AHA toner in the evening (making sure if she uses the Super Serum that one is in the morning and the other in the evening).
