Super serum stinging

I just tried the super serum and it is stinging my face. I washed it off since I was worried about it. Should it sting my face? I know the AHA will and that is normal. I just don't know if this is normal or should I not use the super serum. Thanks for your help.

Hi Colleen,
What kind of cleanser are you using.....could there possibly be a mild AHA in the cleanser? Otherwise, you may be one that can't use it. We do have a few that just can't.

I used the kiss cleanser and than the super serum. I did put some lubrederm on after the super serum. I don't know if that would cause a problem. I wouldn't think so, but you never can tell.

I don't think the Lubriderm should interact..... probably just best not to use it.

i have experimented with it and i can use it but not everyday and if i'm not careful my face will be rather pink for a day or two.
For me, after washing my face and making sure it is very wet, i put a very tiny amount of super serum in my left hand, wet my right hand with water and mix them together and apply- not missing any part of my face (because if it does turn pink, i don't want streaky pink). I then immediately follow it up with another serum- i like the rose one best. My face has to be very wet when i'm done, it can't be tight. Then I rub in a moisturizer and about 30 seconds later i'll gently press my face into a towel once, just to not have my face be so very very wet.
I like the effects, it's fantastic for acne, but i'm one who has to be really careful with it.

I was thinking the same thing. I really like the face lift serum and lotion so I will probably just use those.

I might give that a try. I probably used too much the first time.

Today I put it on with my face wet and just used one drop of the serum. It was about a medium sized drop. It worked that way. Is that enough to even bother with though? I don't know how much you should put on for good results. Thanks for your help.

1 drop should be fine. I think I use about 2 drops, but I'm not sensitive to it. The serums are really concentrated. These are not like drugstore or department store products that you have to slather on to get effects from - it may take a little getting used to, but overall that's a good thing.

Thanks, I think I put on too much with a dry face. It did sting a little today but not that much. I might need to do every other day for a bit. The sample is good size so I will know if I want to order it in full size by the time I use it up. I want to order some things next month.
