Karen,
I think hubby will be flying in kind of near you guys today - to Albany? He has some work meetings and has to fly there and then drive to some smaller town about 1.5 hours away. too bad it's not a little closer and I could have had him swing by to say hi. ;)
PS - he is hoping for no snow. He'll only be there for a couple days. Not that we're unfamiliar with driving in snow - at all - but rental car plus totally unfamiliar roads plus snow equals "not that fun."

Wow! Albany is about 4 hours from here...it seems far, but by Upstate NY standards, not that far- my sister lives in Saratoga Springs which is pretty close to Albany. It's looking like no snow in the forecast for a little while- mid 40's until Friday. It spit snow yesterday, but only enough to make the roads wet- no big deal. The major roads around Albany stay relatively clear unless it's coming down so fast that they can't keep up (which happened to us- and it was awful)- doesn't look like he'll have a problem.

When he flies in there's a mall by the airport on Wolf Road that has some cool shops- including an LL Bean store if you're into that sort of thing. It's not as cool as the store in Maine, but pretty nifty. If you were going along I'd mention that the Macy's has MAC and Bobbi Brown, and there's also a Sephora. :D

He got there okay, although I guess it was a really small plane from Philly to Albany. I think it was Kingston he drove to then last night. I didn't go. He'll be leaving tomorrow evening already.
I will admit that as soon as I heard he was going to upstate NY, I thought, "hmmm, I wonder how close that is to Silk Naturals?"
