Silk vs. Vegan in color and heaviness??
Hi, I was wondering if there is any color difference between the foundations with Silk and the Vegan one's? Also, re: the Vegan formula, does the Ivory only come in the Medium Coverage? Thanks!

I don't know for sure as I have not tried the vegan varieties, but given the cares that Karen takes, if there were reason to suspect that there may be colour differences between the original and vegan formulas which share the same names, she would certainly have highlighted this in the descriptions.
The vegan line is very new, so I think that there is only the medium coverage but if the response to it is favourable, I would imagine that Karen would look to see if there is demand for the other coverage weights, too.

Just to confirm what Cupcake wrote....we do currently have only the one coverage level in the Vegan Formula. The color bases should be very comparable from the Vegan to silk lines. And Karen has said the Vegan is between the Original and Medium in the Silk Line as far as the coverage level. The Vegan Foundation is fairly new.....like within the last few months. I still have not tried it, myself. It sounds like I should pull out my samples and give it a go!

Eliz- I've tried original, medium and vegan and the vegan is my favorite. =) I'd agree that the coverage is in between the two.

Thanks everyone! That's fantastic news foureight, I bought the medium coverage in the silk but was thinking I might want something a little lighter (my face has been cooperating acne wise so I'm feeling bold to try something with less coverage -- hooray!) and was going to order the original, so I think I'll throw in the vegan as well:) I CAN'T WAIT TO PLACE ANOTHER ORDER!!!
