perfecting glow without the sparkles?

Post by xraisonxdetre » Wed Nov 11, 2009 11:29 pm

I've been using liberty and I really really like it. But, the only problem I have is there are are pieces of silver sparkles..is there any perfecting glow without that? I can't tell if I'm making sense or not lol. I love how liberty covers pores really well and has a really nice sheen/glow to it, but I don't really like the silver sparkles on my face. Hopefully thats a bit more clear! Hahaha. I have halo and heavenly also, but I think Liberty does a really nice job covering up the finer flaws :)

Have you tried Tempt Tryst, or even the regular translucent perfecting powder? I haven't used Liberty myself because I'm cool-toned, but the perfecting powders don't have the shimmer that the glows do, and still do a terrific job with blurring imperfections and giving you a slightly (very slight, not OTT) glowy finish. I find the glows better as highlighters (cheekbones, browbone, etc.) than for all-over.

Mix Tempt Tryst with Untinted Blur of your choice. It will lighten the TT and not have the pieces of sparkles like Liberty does.

I would join a 12 step program for my SN addiction, but 12 steps are for quitters!

This is exactly what I do, right now I'm at 1 TT:2 OCB and it gets me close to what Liberty is, not as yellow though.

This week I included a sample of Liberty in my order but if it has sparkles I'm not going to like it. :( I'm over 50 and I think sparkle, especially in the daytime, is not suitable probably after 40 (depending on the person...), but a little glow can actually look very youthful. Luckily I also ordered a sample of TT, can't wait to get my order to see what it's really like!

I also ordered a sample of Heavenly Glow and it says it's not "glittery" so I'm hoping I can wear that one.

Perfecting Glow without the sparkles.....is Perfecting Powder. We have Love Lure (a tan version), Date Bait (a pink version), Perfecting Powder (translucent version), and Tempt Tryst (a golden version that is only slightly more shimmery than the other three).

Karen formulated the Perfecting Glows for those who wanted a little shimmer in their Perfecting Powder. ;)
