I am not Karen, but In my opinion I would use them for about 2 years. Actually, I might get lazy and use them a little longer if I did not notice a change in texture.

Some might not choose to go that long, though.

Hi Jen & Karen
Thanks foi the replies
WOW Karen 2 years for a lippy, thats impressive. I knew there was a reason why I buy Silknaturals

.
I am with you Jen, as long as they still work well, I'll still use them.
thanks

I have noticed that most of my products, particularly liquid or cream formulas (like gloss) tend to make me break out after about 9-12 months regardless of formulation.
I would advise using the lippies for one year, maximum, if you have sensitive or acne-prone skin like mine.
I'm sure that for most people the 2-year shelf life is accurate but be wary of that estimation if you have sensitive skin.

You are right, Zeebs! It definitely makes sense to do what works for you!
It is also good to share that info in case someone is having issues with unexplained breakouts around the lips. It could be a reaction to a lippie from
anywhere that has outlived its use. I don't usually have those types of reactions. I am one to get breakouts in the "phone zone".
