New: Need help with color (beyond fair)

Hi!
I currently use Bare Escentuals foundation in Fair and have tried Laura Geller's balance and brighten in fair- both are too dark. I've also tried many otc foundations.
I'm incredibly pale or as my husband says, I'm bright not white.
I have pink/reddish undertones. (I have systemic lupus and the malar rash that goes with it).

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Nicole in CA

The cool thing about Silk Naturals foundtion is you can leave it white if you want.......For you, I am guessing Peach or Ebony will match the best, Ebony being my first choice. You will not need much colored base at all. In your case, it is almost worth just adding a little color to some Ivory (meaning a few grains of color to about 5 sccops Ivory for a test)....... I know we have some girls that are one small scoop color to 32 (32 small scoops is equal to 1 tsp.)or so Ivory.

Thanks.
Is this everything I need?

From the foundation sample page

sample kit "original" coverage ivory- does this come with the measuring spoon, containers, etc or do I need to purchase the "perfect harmony foundation sample kit?

sample ebony foundation only

sample peach foundation only

Thanks for your help.

Since I have not seen a picture of you, I still recommend the Perfect Harmony Sample Kit. Peach is not included in this kit, so you will need to order it seperately, along with an extra 2 samples of Ivory base (samples are limited to 2). I recommend the extra Ivory because you are so pale.
Also, when foundation is that pale, the undertones in the mix can slightly change......you may find that a slight yellow really perks up your skin.

1 Perfect Harmony Sample Kit
2 Ivory Sample only
1 Peach Foundation Sample
Possibly an extra jar if you don't have extras

Yep....Ebony or Peach...Thanks for posting the pics. They really do help narrow it down.

Revised List.....
1 (or 2) Ivory sample kits....the kits will have a jar and scoop included
possibly an additional Ivory sample or 2 that is a sample *only*
1 Ebony sample
1 Peach sample

The Peach is very strong...it will take very little. It is a good one for you to try because in the fair ratios it has much less brown than Ebony. Peach will be in the 1:32+ range...Ebony in the 1:16-20 range. I still recommend a few grains (rather than a whole scoop) to about 5 Ivory for a test to see which is closer. You can always add a few more grains of color if it is too pale. When you are ready to mix a small batch I would still start with mostly white and add a little color in at a time.
