Hi!
I see that SN has a lot of skin care products for oily and acne prone skin but what about dry skin?
I have a very dry skin, what do you recommend?
I’ve tried super serum and facelift serum.
Facelift serum was to drying which is weird because I use daily aha or tretinoin.
How do other vitamin C serums work on dry skin and what about other skincare products?

Well, first of all- those are merely serums. They aren't for hardcore moisturizing. They contain anti-aging actives to help slow down time marching across your face.

What all skin needs is moisturizing....and that's in form of a moisturizer. My advice for dry skin? Use an anti-aging serum- either the Super Serum or the Face Lift (or both at different times of the day). Supplement that with one of Karen's moisturizers- either the Emu or the Intensive with CoQ10 and Renovage. You might also double up on the serums, too- use the Oatmeal serum in conjunction with one of the previous serums. I do that at night to offer that moisture boost.

Hi,

I´m using SN skincare for about awhile now. I also noticed that the facelift Serum is drying(though I think sometimes I confuse drying with tightening).
I found that if I use Oatmeal or Aloe&Green Tea serum with the Vit C then I don´t have that dry feeling at all.

The Facelift serum definitley has ingredients that will tighten your skin.

And the serums are generally not for moisturizing. Some of the serums do have ingredients for hydrating, and some hydrate more than others, You will need a moisturizer (which adds some kind of oil component) to seal the moisture in.
