Sadly, I haven't had any successful matches in mineral makeup. SN's the closest I've gotten though.

Currently a 1:1 Buttery Gold and Heavy Ivory. If I have dark scars, I'll add 1/2 Buttery Gold to make it slightly darker but not too dark for my skin.

In EDM, I'm a cross between Winged Butter and Medium Tan.

In Fyrinnae, I'm lighter than Tigereye but yellower than Sunstone.

In Joppa, I'm lighter than Medium #3 but yellower than Medium #2.

Hi all

I have to update my recipe, I'm now 1:16 ratio and it is perfect. Its only took me nearly a year LOL I always seem to be experimenting.
Foundation: 1: baggie 6: ebony: 7 glow
Fav blush: Steller
Fav Lippie: Symphony
Fav combo: cream 1st half of lid, 09:59 2nd half, chocolate twinkle in the crease with Blackheart over it blended out and vanillia on brow bone.

OK, I think I got it, woohoo! I had close matches before, but I think this is really it (but may tweak a tiny bit again...)

33 medium ivory: 4 ebony : 1/4 buttery gold

I may end up putting in 1/4 of warm gold, and perhaps a bit more white, if needed, but for now, this is pretty darn close!

I am an impatient person, and using that tiny scoop drives me maaaaaad. So for all who are just like me, he's the quick and dirty way to make lots of foundation at once. =D

1 Refill bag of Ivory foundation = 1 tablespoon = 3 teaspoons = 96 tiny (standard SN) scoops (at 1/32 teaspoon per scoop)

My ratio is 1(buttery gold):8(Ivory) = 12:96 = 12 scoops: 1 refill bag.

SO I grab the refill bag, dump the contents into a jar (I'd suggest an even bigger one than Karen's if you can get it), scoop in 12 scoops of buttery gold, put the lid on (no sifter) and bang and shake it about until it looks evenly amalgamated. Bang it on its base for awhile to settle the foundation, open it and pop the sifter on.

Now because butter gold is just a wee bit yellow for my olive toned skin, I toss in 2 -3 scoops of tinted oil control primer (because more oil control can only be a good thing) and because I like my foundation to be the slightest bit reflective, 2-3 scoops of tempt tryst (too shiny for me to use it on its own). Voila, my perfect foundation - and believe me, making it is really really fast.

That is totally genious! I had thought of mixing something glowier into the foundation if one thought it was a little too matte for their taste, but adding the oil control powder never dawned on me!!!! Your mix sounds perfect!

Hi, All:

I finally found an exact match to my skin tone. I'm wearing 36 scoops medium coverage ivory + 2 scoops WG + 1 scoop Peach. Yeah, I'm very fair and burn easily (when I actually have time to be out in the sun). I've never found an exact match with any other company, so I have nothing to compare my mix to!

Hello Chara!

It looks to me that Buttery Gold will be close. If that does not do the trick, Warm Gold will probably work.

Hi, I am an asian girl who is quite fair. i want to try the heavy coverage foundation but am not sure which base colour to choose. Hopefully, I could get some help here. My skin colour is similar to the girl in the video link below. Thanks in advance!
