hi,
i'm looking at the oil control products and beside the ingredients wonder what is the difference between:
1) Oil control Blur finishing powder
2) Oil control primer
which has a better oil control to keep oily t-zone at bay?
Thanks!

I have both products. I tend to use the Oil control Blur more. I like to use OCB under foundation also. I really like as a finishing powder in the T zone and then my glow (Currently it is Liberty!) over the cheekbones and the rest of my face.
The Oil control primer is nice UNDER foundation. It does control oil well. It does not have that magic smooth no pore look that OCB or the blurs do.
If I had to choose one, I would go with OCB or one of the Blurs. I have reordered Untinted Blur.

If you can afford it, get both! I like to use the primer under my foundation to wipe out shininess from my sunscreen and provide a smooth surface to apply foundation, while I like the blur for its soft focus lighting quality and to sandwich my foundation with another oil control product. I have tinted and untinted versions of both products - that's how much I love them!

The Oil Control Blur contains Silica... loads and loads of it. And that's what makes it give the soft focus effect. There's plenty of branded versions out there, and I went to one of their counters to try theirs, and really, you're getting the same quality stuff but at a fraction of their prices.
