Have a Happy 4th those in the US!
No big plans here. We are kind of in spontaneous mode for the weekend.
We have our last regular season baseball game tonight. Then we will just do some family things. Unfortuantely, the weather is kind of chilly here! It is so not typical for July.

Happy Independence Day! While you're playing in the sun, providing a meal to the mosquites while you see fireworks, watching parades, grilling burgers, or staying warm like Jen, please take a moment to pray for our troops and thank a veteran for his/her service. We celebrate this day because of men and women like them who have fought for American freedom for over 210 years. God bless America, God Bless Our Troops, and may God bless us all! Lauren

Talk about not typical weather: LA just finally hit the high 70s. I'm not complaining though, I prefer it this way

And yeah, no BBQ and other fun for me this weekend, I'll be having my fun when I spend the overtime money I make today and tomorrow on SN goodies

Egerandi, I hear you, I'm going to enjoy spending my ovetime money also. Everybody have a safe holiday and enjoy family picnics, fireworks, etc. But don't feel to sorry for me, I work days so I actually have the best of both worlds this weekend, overtime and family barbeques and fireworks in the evening. For those of you who are having chilly weather that doesn't remind you of July, I would LOVE to send you some heat. It was 105 on Wednesday and in the low 90's today, but for Colorado the humidity is high, so it is uncomfortable. Tomorrow is supposed to be a repeat of today, with a greater chance of severe thunderstorms , which I hope don't happen!!!

Hollis.....I would take some of that heat!!! I was wrapped in a wool blanket at my son's baseball game. It seems more like October here!!!

Where do you live Jen? Somewhere in Canada?
Here in Luxembourg, yesetrday was extremely hot over 30 Celcius, and much too humid. But this week it will get too cool below 20 and rainy

again! We just can't have just nice sunny wheather over here or let's say spring-like but without the consatnt rain and grey sky. I think it's even worse than the UK!

Jen, belive me I would send you some of the heat if I could. Actually yesterday was in the low 90's and then it started raining around 5 pm, didn't damper any fireworks displays however. Today was 88 and it started raining againa round 5pm, and is a cool and absolutely beautiful 66 right now. Tomorrow is supposed to be more of the same, and then the heat returns, so back to 100+ starting Wednesday through the end of the week. So if I can figure out a away to bottle it up and send it to you I will.
