Raspberry moisturizer :)

Post by egerandi » Mon Jun 22, 2009 5:12 pm

I'm working from home today, so I did a lazy skin routine this morning: used the microderm gel to cleanse and then applied two tiny squirts of the raspberry moisturizer on the clean skin - no toner, serum, nothing. Hah! I can't stop touching my face :D Doesn't feel greasy either like some moisturizers I've used in the past.

I'm planning on mixing in some zinc powder for added protection, and may even mix in a bit of the Monistat, we'll see. Can't wait to reduce 3 steps to 1 and see how it works out! I'll report back (may be a while as Rite Aid discontinued the chafing gel in their stores, so I'm waiting on Amazon to stock up on the three pack).

I got my order today and have to say just how impressed I am with this product too :)

I have kept meaning to try raspberry oil over the years because I liked the sound of its properties but never got around to it because I presumed it would feel, well, oily. This product is ace - more like a thick-ish serum than even a moisturiser (never mind an oil!!) and it feels wonderful on my skin; replenishing & smoothing but with no residue/grease/film at all :D .

I wore it under my home made liquid sunscreen and I needed to use less than usual because the Raspberry Moisturiser had an almost priming effect and helped it glide on really easily 8-)

This is fantastic product & I would recommend that those who haven't tried it yet should get some......(but I think all of the mini sizes have now gone from the new products page so fingers crossed it makes it to a full size sometime soon). Not sure if all of the gelled oils have the same lovely feelin as this is the only one I sampled but I reckon the formula is an absolute winner :D

Ah yes, I can see there are no more samples anymore. I hope that by the time that my coupon will be reset, there will be some available again, as I can't wait to make an order and try out all moisturisers, hemp, jojoba and raspberry, and the eyegel, would be lovely if my lashes wouls grow! :D

I must say I don't care for the raspberry moisturizer. It smells funky, which I could get over if it performed amazingly. It doesn't for me. It moisturizes my face but I end up feeling really oily later on. The hemp is much better.

I'm sure if you really need the sun protection or if you have dry skin that's not prone to acne it would be good.

i think it smells funny too, which is something i haven't noticed with the other moisturizers as much. it works alright, but i don't think i would repurchase because of the scent.

It definitely smells a bit 'unusual' - reminded me of, I think it's castor oil........but once it's on I couldn't smell it anymore & for me, the performance outweighed the sniffy factor

It does
But the results are truly great. I used it with the super serum and my normal cleansing routine. My skin was so lovely this morning. No red spots and soooo soft.
So,...where´s the fullsize??

I'm loving the Raspberry moisturizer! I even appreciate the smell. It has a light, fruity smell to me. I can't wait to see some full sizes as well!
