Foundation blend advice

I've always had immense trouble finding foundation that matches my skin because I'm crazy pale. Blinds people in direct sunlight kind of pale. I do tan, but it's so light a tan that I'm probably the only one who notices and it's not enough to warrant a change in foundation shade. I've always bought the fairest shades available and they've always been too dark and usually too pink or orange as well.
Since switching to minerals about a year ago I've been using EDM's sandy fair. It's much better than any colour I ever got off the high-street but it's still not quite there. It's a little too dark and becomes too pink once it's mixed with the oils on my face for a while. I've been thinking about trying another of their shades, but mixing my own shade sounds like the perfect solution to my matching problem!
I'm not quite sure where to start though. I'm thinking I'm probably not particularly ebony because of the problem I've had with overly pink shades in the past. Maybe a really really fair olive? I don't think I'm yellow enough for either of the golds. I'm pretty neutral. I am prone to spotty outbursts and I have some acne scarring on my cheeks and forehead which can look a bit pink (as in the first photo), but I'd rather not match that!
I'd love some advice from the afficionados!

Hello!

I think you are a very fair Olive or Warm Gold. 1 Olive to about 16+ Ivory or 1 Warm Gold to about 14 Ivory. I really think the Olive will be a better match because I don't see much in the way of golden tones. Initially, I was thinking Ebony, but based on your descriptions and the effect of a green background in your pic, there really isn't much pink there, either.
