Hi, I am a Hungarian girl from Slovakia. I have started ordering about 6 weeks ago, and I have to say, that I can't stop. I have ordered the Silk Powder for the first time and it was such a great product for a friendly price that I went on trying more. I have been using mineral makeup for a year, it suits me and I get them from an another USA company, but I think they are loosing a costumer...and I was a satisfied one. But Karen's products, her kindness, the shipping prices, the speed as I get my orders - so the whole company policy makes me feel like I am in heaven. I just wanted to say a big Thank You, and that I am ever so grateful ! I am in love with you bronzers (both, by the way), the Zinc Powder, the Silk Powder, The Vitamin C serum, Apricot cleansing oil...I do praise them on every hungarian and slovak makeup forum I visit. ...
I can't get the hang of the foundation, but I keep on trying, I have to find the formula that suits me best. And I don't really understand the perfecting powder. The Silk powder is "perfecting" me so much that there is no reason to switch to the PP-and somehow it makes me oilier than I would get without it .Maybe I don' t use it correctly...but it is not a turn off, never, I just prefer other Karen's finishers .
Please forgive my for my not so perfect english, but I felt the need to write down how thankful I am, and I would love to ask a few questions in other threads later, if You wouldn't mind.

Szia Nessa! I'm a Hungarian girl from Los Angeles

Your English is very nice, so don't worry. Welcome to the forum, and yes, feel free to roam and post, that's what it's here for!
As for the PP or other finishing powders, it really just depends what works for you. I prefer a mix of PP and oil control Blur, but I like Date Bait too.

Hello!
that is very nice, I hope your husband is proud of you, hungarian is quite difficult to learn as I´ve heard.

I am working on my next order. I will try Blur as a finisher as it seems to have some oil control effects, maybe more than Perfecting Powder. I need more of the zinc powder, which is gorgeous and I mean to use it all summer. I hate chemical sunscreen.
My main problem is the oiliness of my face, with big pores, I try to hide them in every possible way. I have a sample of the pore refining toner, but I need more time to see if it works. I will buy a heavy Ivory, as for the first time i tried Original sample kit, I made it too dark and the coverage is too sheer - maybe this helps.
Now, I would love to try Drama blush for contouring, but I can´t find a sample...Is there a sample of it somewhere or do i have to buy the whole package?
And I would love to try a lip color, which is not reddish neither peachy. I have Sweet Nothing and it is a tiny bit too dark. Could you suggest me somethink light, pink or brownish? I was thinking of Berry Nice, but one of the reviews say that it is more red than pink...what should i try instead of it?

Hiya Nessa,
I am proud of my husband but he is also proud of me

.
Concerning lippies, I see you are looking for a pink lippie, so I would suggest peace, peace is a light pink with a very slight touch of golden, looks a decent soft natural pink on my lips. Or if you want a brownish pink, which makes it more wearable for some try Breathless, also very nice, but personally I prefer peace because I don't like brown much as my skin is already brownish.
As to foundation, it works marvelously once you have the color right, maybe if you post a pic where one can see your face color, Karen could suggest you what portion of ivory and other color you could start mixing, for example, me, i was told I am olive, once I got teh right proportion, I use about 9 ivory to one olive, it looked perfect, but if i use too much or too little color ivory it doesn't work, you really need some time and luck to get it right.

Welcome to the SN gang, Nessa! Have you tried the medium foundation? It's a big jump from original to heavy. Try Soft for a beautiful pink lippie. It's very sheer - just adds a little color, and oh-so-pretty. That one has a permanent place in my purse.

Welcome! For lippies, in addition to the ones mentioned above, I'd also suggest looking at Tender and Maiden - both are pinks with a touch of brown, with Tender being a little bit darker and more shimmery than Maiden on me, or if you want to try the Black Label lippies (they are super moisturizing!) Aria is a great neutral pink.
Have patience with the pore refining toner, I've been using it for just over a week along with the Aloe and Green Tea serum and my pores really are smaller, I'm so happy with it.
