Serum for Eyelashes?

I know this is something that I personally would love, and I've only found a handful of products on the market that are specifically designed to help one grow longer, thicker, lashes (and the ones I've looked at are ~$100).Now there's a prescription product that is FDA approved and currently being advertised on tv-though the side effects sound absolutely dreadful. I think if you are able to conjure up a product that would do that, this might be a great way to draw even more traffic to your site since there's so little competition in the field for this type of product, and I think it's something that is in demand!!!
just a thought!
(I guess this isn't really skin care. Mods, please move this to the wishlist forum if you feel that's more appropriate. Thanks!)

There's a brand called Talika which started from a moment of medical serendipity - as often the best formulating does. I forget the story, but shortly after WW2, a medic applied an anti-bacterial or antiseptic cream which was intended to do something specific - I can't remember if it was to treat burns or something - but they accidentally found out that it stimulated the growth of the eyelashes (and eyebrows?). Over time they adapted it under lab supervision and turned it into a cosmetic product which used over a period of time can restore even the weakest eyelashes back into good health. Although the company now has expanded to do a vast range of other things, their original product remains the same. It sells at full price in the UK for around $20 (equivalent) and usually for less on promotional offers. Worth checking out.

They want $40 for the Talika over here...ouch! It wouldn't be too bad, but there isn't really anything that expensive in it. It beats the $140 for Lumigen though. I've been kinda working along the hair growing lines...DH has what I call "scalp sunburn issues", and there are some impressive clinicals for good old caffeine,so he's been using a spray with that and some vitamins. It's too soon to tell yet, but my hair feels thicker.
Hmmm....thinking,thinking.

Oohhh! I would like that too!
I will faithfully keep checking in to see what your thinking leads to!

About the hair,
recently bought and used only three times a shampoo which has cafeine and ginkgo in it, but my hair really looks fuller and has more volumen, even though it is very long. So maybe it's the caffeine!
about eyelash serum, I have a serum which you put on eyelashes and it has some horse extract and some castor oil, haven't used it for some time, but when i used it regularly for a week or two, i could really see the eyelashes growing, the tiny hairs were growing fast. However i doubt it makes them longer or fuller, i think just makes them grow really fast. That thing is totally natural, I think it only has those two ingredients. Had also bought a bottle of castor oil to use it on my lashes and brows but never have, it's all full sitting in the cupboard. Maybe i should use it just on my skin?
A product that makes lashes really longer and fuller sounds great, I'd love it, but I'm really scared top use anything with side-effects, especially as it will go around the skin of the eyes and in the eyes even. I wonder if that Talika is safe. Sigh, before I started using mascara i ahd so full, thick and long lashes. After using mascara they have changed and have never returned to the same. Or is it maybe just that after your teens they become thinner and weaker? LAshes arefor me the number 1 in cosmetic matters. If I could only chose a single make-up item and weren't allowed to use more than one, it would be mascara, and then lipstick, as my lips have an unattractive pale color to them.

The Eyelash Gel has passed the test for me. I get real problems as my tear ducts do not water properly and can't flush out anything. I got a bit of the gel in my eye the first night I used it and woke up to such a gooey-eye mess in the morning, but with no real irritation or bad consequences. If an eye product was going to cause problems, that would have been the one but no problems at all (apart from my own clumsiness in applying!) I've also dabbed it onto my eyebrows - purely experimental - as my eyebrow hairs are quite uneven and as a blonde, they're a strange mix of near black and pure white in colour, so all potential help is welcome.
