Masks??

A while back we had powdered masks as a gift with purchase item...I thought they were pretty cool, and I actually ordered some stuff to make more and different ones thinking that I'd try a few things if the GWP's were popular.

So yesterday I actually got desperate for a mask (last week was stressful to say the least), and made one using pumpkin, yogurt and honey powders. I'm in love- my skin is so soft and smooth!

Anyone interested in a mask or 2? They'd be powdered, and you'd mix them with water so they'd be pretty much fresh every time.

Yes, funny that you mention it as I was craving that clay-based one (Goddess?) which you had as a GWP recently. I was thinking that I did not recall it being discussed and wondering if I'd missed the topic.

I'd love that or some similar clay based one for simple deep cleansing. I also wondered about one for occasional use for brightening, maybe rich in anti-oxidants? No firm ideas but something to give the complexion a boost of nutrients.

I liked the sachet of powder format, that was convenient and easy to use. A two-phase powder base and liquid in a bottle ready to mix together might be a fun way to extend the possible range of ingredients too. I could even imagine a mix'n'match mask bar where we buy one base and one liquid from a small range to custom make what we need. Could be fun ;)

A big 'yes' from me too, please :D

That pumpkin one sounds lovely 8-)

I kept a hold of the milk honey & oatmeal GWP mask for a special occassion, and just used it this past weekend as part of a DIY facial before a wedding I went to. I like the sachets which mean the product is really fresh when you add water to mix it (or cold green tea, in my case) and I'm sure the powder formulation also makes for cheaper shipping which is always a good thing ;) It left my skin really soft & smooth, but somehow plumped up feeling too.

I second a brightening type of mask - I have olive skin which tans easily, but also leaves scar marks from picking at dry skin/spots and I've also developed melasma in the past 5 years so something which would help to even the skin tone with regular use would definitely be a winner in my book.

Txx

I'm all in! I missed the mask gwp and I was bummed because I love trying stuff from Karen. So, if you put them up, I'll buy some. (Isn't it awful that I have a bunch of the newer stuff in my wish cart right now--aroun 90 buck worth. But, oh so fun.....) :D

I would loooove a facemask! I am about to order samples of all the new skincare and I was wondering (wishing, hoping!) that you were going to come out with facemasks as well.
I especially have an inclination towards preparations including ayurvedic ingredients, but really I just love anything.
DIY facemasks are the only thing I'm using right now, which at times can be a bit of trouble to mix up.

Powdered masks? Yipeee!!! *cough* Yes, please. The only other company I know of which sells powdered face masks is Skinfood (Korean) and I don't like the fragrance. Plus, they are kinda expensive (less than USD 5?) for one time use.

I'd love to masks, too!
I've tried Green Goddess recently and absolutely loved it.

And as Kitten said, powder equals cheaper shipping, very good for us international customers ;)
