Ketol-
I do think you are slightly warm. Not enough for our Warm Gold, though. I think Olive will be a good match (sounds pretty weird, but it too falls into that sort of warm category.) I think about 1 scoop color to about 10 white should do it. If it looks off to you, we can adjust or start over!

Thank you Jen. So I can order just the base and the color? Or should i order the complete sample kit just in case?
Thanks, Kelly

I am 90% sure Olive will work. Pictures are a huge help in pinpointing color, but sometimes the lighting is such that I can't easily read color. It is still an imperfect "science". If shipping is not a huge issue I would still order samples because you never know whether or not it will work for you formula-wise even if you get the color perfect.

I can't wait to play..and of course then order all the gorgeous blush colors..some people are e/s whores, lipstick, etc..Not me, blushes I LOVE..all the gorgeous colors!

Hi there! I'm in the process of clearing up my acne and I've been avoiding makeup with a ten-foot-pole so I can finally heal my face. I'm at the point where I think I can wear a bit of makeup and it won't look caky, obvious and terrible. I saw some amazing reviews for Silk Naturals on makeupalley and I'm very interested in trying it out.
I have very fair skin that burns very easily, but I can tan minimally if I try really hard to sit out a little bit every day in the summer with sunscreen. I have a lot of redness on my face now, but even when my skin is clear I have pink undertones. I have extremely dark, thick wavy hair, which is very strange with my pale complexion. I also have very sensitive skin. I hope Silk Naturals works for me
Thanks for your help!
Marlee

Hi Marlee,
I think the All Purpose Foundation will be the one for you. I am not sure we have samples of it, yet, but it is the most simple for ingredients and the least likely to cause a reaction in your case. I am guessing you will be about 1 scoop Olive to about 12 white.

Hi Jen,
Thanks for your quick reply! I'm new to Silk Naturals and I'm not familiar with the All Purpose Foundation. I searched it on the website and I can't find it. I'd love to try a sample first if I could, do you think you'll be getting any?
Thanks!
Marlee

Hi Jen,
I'm hoping you can help me. I've got some samples coming, and my perfect match is adorned with Grace in Hope 3.5, with some untinted/white mixed in (about 30:5). That's pretty yellow, but I'm not sure whether this translates to Buttery Gold, or Warm Gold? And maybe some Olive?
I'm also sending you a PM with a picture. I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance!

Charz-
I did answer your pm. I think Hope falls in our Buttery Gold range. If Buttery Gold works out to be too yellow, we can add in some Olive, too.

Your PM was very helpful, thank you
By the way, Marlee, I got my All Purpose Ivory sample by adding one of the regular samples to my cart - the 1tsp sample option from
here - and adding a comment in the checkout to ask them to replace it with the All Purpose. I also added samples of the base colours separately, from
here. Hope this helps.
