This look is an experiment I've successfully run. I was thinking about the difference between Luxe and Nekkid so I ended getting them both. Nekkid in June, so it had enough time to become my favorite and Luxe in September. I couldn't catch the difference even when I got them, so I made different make up for my eyes and spent the whole day this way. No-one mentioned! I was attentive about it!
I remember Annika sharing some of her looks and saying "Are we geeks or what" http://host.silknaturals.com/forum/view ... 6&start=10

So here I am:

I made some swatches for my forum:

It's funny how much alike Luxe and Nekkid are for you. I can tell more of a difference on myself than on you. But to me, Meteor and Luxe look nearly identical.

Its funny on me nekkid looks the same, no pibk at all but definitely coppery!! Without primer though, and mylids are very colored, dark copperish. Also maybe it is the olive in our skin that makes the copper come out. Although my skin is much darker tgan yours but i have peachy pink cheeks. Wish i could undersrand color theory better.

Thank you for this! I have and love Sandy, Boom and Luxe - I've been eyeing Nekkid FOREVER but now it's pretty obvious that I really don't need it. Boom and Sandy are my two go-to colors though. And Dark Arts. I don't need anything else.

Also, Nekkid looks a lot like Velocity, which I also have. Yay! I am so relieved!

This is more a FOTD than an EOTD but what the heck.

Image
Eyes: SN Frenchie all over (lid, tearduct, highlight). SN Dark Arts to line and in outer v. SN Quartzite to blend and in crease. Smudged mascara as an extra touch.
Cheeks: EDM Sand Cherry
Lips: SN Mango

Mango is awesome. Depending on my current natural lip color it can be a really soft, light orange or bright orange-red like in this picture. I thought Barcelona was my HG but I find myself reaching for Mango and Precious all the time nowadays.

Die Marchen- that's wild! The weird thing is that they don't have a single common pigment between them. I've been known to walk around with a few different colors on in the name of science...pretty much everyone is used to me walking around wearing different experiments though.

Annika you look stunning!

Good look, Packgal. I haven't seen Vogue used before so I'm very chuffed to see it pair well with Brown Sugar. Nice job.
