Oooh pretty! No worries on listing an off brand- it looks great whatever it is.
Congrats on the wedding! Is it soon??? You're going to be gorgeous :)

Tanks Karen, it's Saturday. No real wedding though, just signing paperwork. Neither of us wanted a big wedding, or really any wedding at all. Afterwards we're going to Atlantic City with my friend and her husband and hitting the outlets, then meeting up with a few other friends for dinner.

The eyeliner is Avon Glimmersticks in Cosmic Brown. It's the only pencil eyeliner I like.

GREAT LOOK!!!!

Congrats and have fun!!!!

We went to the town hall (I wore shorts, t-shirt and sneakers) to get married, just the two of us. I don't have a single regret doing it that way. Funny part is they took us outside to do it and a photographer from the local paper just happened to be walking by and started taking pics as we said our vows. I had to beg him not to put it in the paper.

lol that's a cute story. I'm such a ham, I'd probably beg him to put it in the paper. And I'd be striking a pose. I don't think I'm photogenic in general but I love cheesing it up for the camera anyway.

I finally did find an eyeshadow look I'm happy with. Unfortunately it's not SN because I don't own a pale pink or taupe like I was looking for, but I love it. In case anyone wants to see:

My best friend became ordained so she can marry us (isn't she great?) and we're going to dinner afterwards, so I want to dress up a bit anyway. I'm sure I wont' regret anything since I really can't stand crowds and don't want the stress of planning a big wedding, but the closer it gets to Saturday, the more I realize maybe I did want more... like a reception at least. I've been feeling an emotional wreck these past few weeks. And I don't want to back out, nothing like that, I just find that I'm being more foolish and emotional the closer it gets. Everyone is telling me I'll feel a lot better once Saturday is done. I guess we'll see. But regardless, I'm going to look my best at least

You're going to be a beautiful bride!!!!!!!! No matter how you get married, it's a lot. It's forever and ever- the rest of your life, and your one and only special day.

FWIW DH and I got married twice. We eloped- simple JP ceremony in the woods by a waterfall. I wore a dress that I got at TJ Maxx that day, and had a small bouquet. After we went out to dinner with my parents....it's why there's a tiaramisu lip balm. We didn't' have cake- it was our first dessert together as a married couple. It was sweet, and a memory that just the two of us, and my parents share. It let us focus on each other, and enjoy the moment.

Later that summer we did the big church wedding. Which was great- in a different way. I'm glad we did it that way, and now we celebrate 2 anniversaries which is a nice bonus.

My brother eloped too...at a little wedding chapel in Niagara Falls. A few weeks later they had a reception.

Take lots of pictures, and enjoy it! I can't wait to hear all about it!

I was just thinking that I should play with Safety again...so I did! It's not quite an everyday look, but I had fun with it.

Safety on the lid, Swamp in the crease, Highbeam to highlight, and then Film Noir with Superfly smooshed on top of it as a liner. I like the way the Superfly matches my eye color...

My brother-in-law and his wife just signed papers for the first time, but they celebrated 10th anniversary by making huppa (Jewish wedding) and that was very touching! One more cause to wear a wonderful dress and all that. Men and women are divided during the fest in sinagogue, but we had an after-party))) (We are married for 7,5 years now, so we have time to plan and to earn :))
I am thinking about something like this too, we are formally orthodox and husband wanted orthodox ceremony right after the "civil" marriage, but I was not sure. As a woman I like huppa more, but we are both not clear blood.

So Christine - if once you realize you want a celebration - you can make it))
