Rosiewoo,
For some reason I can only link to the middle pic.

Also, I am not certain you car cool toned. I think you look pretty neutral, but I can tell there is some redness. Redness often looks pink on the skin which can lead one to think they are cool toned.

I need to hold off for the other pics, but right now I am leaning Olive. I know that sounds off, but the green with help with the redness a little.

Well, the middle pic was in direct sunlight at sunset, so the lighting is a bit funny.

My mom has olive skin, so I guess it's not a huge stretch for me to have it also.

I can't post any pics now but here's a try:
I'm Asian. In EDM, I wear Fairly summer - basically a perfect match. Med Beige Neutral works pretty well, too. I can wear Golden Medium but it's slightly too green.

In Revlon Colorstay - I'm a Sandy Beige and in their PhotoReady Line, I'm in Nude.

I think I'm between a NC25-30 (never been color matched).

Also, I'm trying to cover blemishes (acne scars) and in EDM in matte and even intensive formula, it doesn't cover completely, what formula would you recommend to cover it pretty well? Also, what mix would you recommend? Thank you! :)

Hello! I am interested in switching from EDM to Silk Naturals. (I am Light Olive, but it seems to be a little too light for me) and normal skin, a little on the dry side. I have a lot of questions though lol...

1. What is the SN coverage equivalent of EDM's Semi Matte formula? That's the coverage I'm looking for
2. Which perfecting powder should I get, I want it to work similar to BE's Mineral Veil (Last step to just blend everything together, but can wear by itself on days I want very sheer coverage.. I'm afraid the original might be too light for me for that purpose?) - I was thinking maybe Love Lure?
3. Do you think I should add some of the glow powder to my foundation mix?
4. I am going to order the Perfect Harmony Kit, looking at my skintone, do I need any extra bags of foundation in addition to the kit?
- What mix do you recommend I start with? This is basically my skintone all year, but during the summer it gets darker.
- Not sure if you can notice, but my neck is a couple shades darker than my face, would you recommend that I match my neck? I think I should because then it won't look like I have mis-matched foundation? Just wanted to point out my neck is a different color, lol.

(These are all no-makeup pics)
*poof*
lol sorry for all the pics, just wanted to make sure the lighting was okay. :)
Thank you!

Rosiewoo,
I think Olive or Buttery Gold. Olive will probably run at about a 1 scoop color to 16-20 white....Buttery Gold will probably run about 1BG:12-14Ivory. I would try samples of both the Original and Medium coverage. The Original is easier to match because it is light coverage. Flirt for blush, and for the most natural and basic eye colors I recommend Bone and EuTaupeia. A pink might be a good option, too, like Cherry Blossom or Hint.

As far as photography, it does not ghost much. Karen's father and Hubby were wedding photographers, so Karen formulated to minimize the ghosting effect.

For the flaking, unfortunately, mineral makeup does not always play well with flaky skin. You will need to make sure your skin is hydrated and exfoliated for the best results. Maybe a hydrating serum would help. If you did decide to try a sample, I would start with the Green Tea and Aloe.

1. Original is pretty close to Semimatte, but you may prefer Medium Coverage. When I switched from semimatte, I liked the slightly lighter coverage of the Original formula. To my eye it looked more natural, but it is really a matter of preference.
2.I think Love Lure might be a bit dark. Tempt Tryst is probably closer, or an even blend of Love Lure and Perfecting Powder for the no makeup days.
3. Adding Glow base is really a matter of preference. If you like semimatte, a few of the scoops of white base can be subbed with the glow base. Again, it is a matter pf preference. I sub two of the 14 scoops in my mix with glow.
4. I think you will be a Buttery Gold 1 scoop color to 5 or 6 white. As for the matching of the neck...I can't really tell from the pics that there is a significant color difference. Most of what is indicated in the pics is just that your face and neck are not in the same plane and do not hit the light the same. If you feel the need to match one or the other, I really recommend chosing a happy medium.

I have another question, so if I wanted the medium coverage.. would I just get a sample of medium coverage ivory base and use the original buttery gold? Or should I get a medium coverage buttery gold also? And this is all in addition to my perfect harmony kit.
Also, do your finishing powders such as Love Lure have the same effects as your Blur powder? Like will they blend everything together ?
