Emma, just a few tips to help I hope:

Drink lots of water for your body..hydration ( do you take any meds that may dehydrate you?)

Are you a lip licker?? If you are you dry out your lips and the stains maybe irritating it?

Keeping a great lip stick/balm/color that moisturizer on that you try not to lick off.

And oh the stains should go on 1st.

You should stop the stains til you heal and then try all the above if they apply. HTH

You're absolutely right about Gigi, Brenda!

Gigi and Vamp came in my last SN package, so I now have 3 of the lip stains (an ol' Dixie).

Gigi is the winner, no doubt about how long this lasts and lasts AND LASTS on my lips. Overnight. It does fade off. This is really way too fuchsia pink on me, even with 1 thin coat, but I love how it looks when fading. A softer pink.

Dixie is the 2nd longest lasting, but seriously not even 1/2 that of Gigi.

Vamp is my favourite lip stain shade on its own, seriously. But it seriously lacks staying power on me, lagging behind Dixie.

I've tried layering Gigi over Dixie to see if that helps Dixie to stay on longer, but it doesn't work that way The colour ended up a slightly purplish leaning darker

How's Vamp on you, Aud? Is it quite dramatic? I was put off by the plum in the description (Figment is as plummy as I can go, and even then it sometimes looks odd) but if it has your seal of approval, I might try it.

Not if it's just 1 thin layer. Let me do a lip swatch one of these days to show you. I find it the most wearable out of the 3 I have. Dixie is sometimes a tad too red.

A lip swatch whenever you get a chance would be wonderful, thanks. I know what you mean about Dixie - even sheered out, I catch people staring at my lips all day

Vamp + Icing looks great on you. I will try Gigi and Dixie to see how different it looks than Vamp.

wow, Aud, Vamp with Icing looks sooo pretty on you! And you have such pretty white teeth too!

WOW!!! Vamp is so pretty alone, also looks great with icing.
