Just a little correction...Barcelona is not currently for sale.

The Butter Creams currently on site don't have the plumper, but they do have the thick organic sunflower oil in them. Same with the liquids. No plumper, just the oil for a new ingredient.

Karen is waiting to see how we all like the plumper in Barcelona before making more Butter Creams with the plumper.

Just wanted to chime in on my thoughts of the new lippies... Like the majority of ladies, I am loving St. Tropez, everything about it - texture, smell, glossiness, color is a winner for me! I have loved the liquid glosses in the past (rouge is my favorite red and I use Frolic & Ice Princess by themselves and over other colors often!), so I'm very excited to see this line expand. And have I mentioned how I love the color? ;)
Stockholm is another "love at first sight" in terms of color. I know that it is very sheer, but that's how I prefer my lippies anyway, MLBB, and this lippy does just that, my lips, but with a lovely purple/plum overlay. And the texture! I am LOVING how the buttercream formula goes on and wears. Like someone else said, it's thicker, more like a lipstick, but the colors are sheer and glossy. I'm not experiencing any kind of dryness or peeling, my lips just feel protected and moisturized. I would definitely buy more of this formula - I already have, in fact :P
I wasn't sure about Barcelona when I saw swatches, because I tend to shy away from reds in general and I thought it would be too orange for me, but it works surprisingly well with my complexion. I wasn't seeing much plumping action when I wore it during the day, but when I wore it overnight (with the TV balm over it to kinda "seal" it), I definitely saw the plumping effect! I too, would prefer a clear formula in this, as I would wear it overnight, and I think it would be more versatile that way - it could always be worn under any lippie color.
I also like the new balm formula - the existing balms are a bit too slippery for my taste, I like the waxier texture of the new one better.

So that's my 2 cents, winners all around! Thanks Karen, for making such great products and taking the time to listen to our feedback!

ega - you're totally right about Smooth & Full - I hadn't noticed that before! I have it, but stopped using it, because my lips did not agree with it at all, they kept getting chapped and would peel, must have been something in the base because I haven't had the same reaction with Barcelona - just goes to show, like with everything else, YMMV...

here's my feedback on the gumball lippies...
i did not get st. tropez, because i really just can't do liquid glosses, no matter how wonderful they are. they just sit in my vanity unused and unloved so i thought i would leave it for those who would use it :)
i really like the colors of barcelona and stockholm. the formula feels very heavy and moisturizing going on. i haven't noticed any plumping at all from barcelona, but i have not worn it overnight--i'll have to try that.
overall though i have to say i prefer the original kisser slicker formula, along with a few gals on chanty's forum (not sure if they have posted their opinions on this forum, since there are a few threads here with feedback). the butter creme formula does not last as long for me, and it doesn't leave my lips feeling as moisturized in the long run. i've done several comparisons now and can say this is the consistent result for me. also i was disappointed with the immediate look and finish of the butter creams. Unlike most glosses, it doesn't make my lips look that much glossier or fill in my "lip lines." it doesn't accentuate my lip lines at all, but it doesn't do anything for them either. i've noticed the same thing with some lip swatches that other ladies have done. i don't think i would purchase any more lippies in this formula.
on the other hand--the new balm formula of tahitian vanilla--LOVE. it is awesome. i think more flavors are in order :)

on another note, i think it is so cool that karen looked for us to see which glosses might be causing the pink phenomenon. i definitely noticed it with centerfold and bloom (although i liked the way bloom ended up) so now i know which lippies i should expect it with. THANK YOU KAREN. you are the best!

I have found that Barcelona decreases the appearance of lines for me. Perhaps I am the outlier on this one.

Stockholm does not decrease the appearance of lines as well as the original glosses do, but I find it moisturizing and it goes on quite smoothly for me. I enjoy the texture quite a bit.

I like the texture of Stockholm, but the color hasn't really wowed me. For some reason, it looks darker on me and is something I will like more in the fall. I also like Barcelona, but haven't noticed much in the way of plumping. I haven't worn it over night, though. (How are the rest of you doing that and not ending up with it all over your pillows?) I am on the fence about Barcelona's color, as well. I liked it when I was putting it on in the car, but then took a picture later and felt it was maybe too orange. But that may have been the quality of the picture. I will need to try it again.

I missed out on St. Tropez as a gumball, but I now have one on the way, along with an Azalea. I can't wait until they get here!

The Barcelona that was released as a gumball had the plumping ingredient in it so we could all test it out. This batch of lippies including Barcelona which has been released for sale does not contain the plumping ingredient as Karen is still awaiting feedback about it's efficacy. hth

Thanks CC I've been using My Pretty more to see how it is working. Now I can use Barcelona too. :) :)

Okay, so prompted by everyone else posting about it, I slept in Barcelona last night to see if it had any effect. This morning it was still on! But had faded out a bit to this really pretty pink color that looked surprisingly good on my lips...I'm gonna have to experiment with blotting and such to see if I can achieve that color without wearing it for 8 hours. My lips did indeed feel plumper and looked pretty much how Lily described, like I'd been kissing all day...errr....night! ;)

I'd LOVE a clear gloss version! I used to have a clear gloss plumper that worked really well but made my lips tingle and go a bit numb. The sensation didn't bother me, especially because it worked so fast! But I think a night treatment formula (I just ordered the Smooth and Full black label to try it) with a clear gloss for during the day to give it a boost, would work better and be gentler on the lips.

I too didn't notice any effect when I wore it during the day, but sleeping in it overnight I guess gives it longer to work? And it did work, in a subtle, but noticeable way.

I don't know about everyone else, but my pillow cases are black and a sexy chocolate brown, as are my sheets, so I wouldn't even notice if it rubbed off. I could still feel it on my lips in the morning though, and I'm a side/tummy sleeper, so I guess I just don't kiss the pillow enough for it to be a problem? :P

The butter cream formula doesn't last very long on my lips either (neither do the Kisser Slickers though), and it seems to cling to the surface more than the Kisser Slickers, but I don't mind that since I use glosses for the more slick feel.

Have you tried layering the Tahitian Vanilla lip balm under the butter cream formulas? I ask because I've noticed I have to moisturize my lips before wearing any of the lippie formulas other than the wand glosses, because they settle into my lip lines and feel a bit odd. I think that's because my lips tend to be a bit dry (I'm bad and forget to moisturize and exfoliate them daily). Once I layer a lip balm underneath and let it soak in a bit, the lip colors go on smoother and look better. I still have to reapply though! :P

Oh, and BTW, love you new profile pic! You have such a knock-out smile! :D

Really? I have smooth and full, and I didn't notice the same plumping effect. Maybe I need to try again.
Maybe :) If you do, let me know what you think of it please. I don't have Barcelona, but for me Smooth & Full does exactly what you said Barcelona does for you, making my lips look 'like I have been drinking lots of water and kissing all day' :D I do hope it works for you, too.

As for the gumballs, I have only purchased Tahitian Vanilla. I have been using it for a week now and can already say that I just love it! TV stays on my lips really long, keeps them smooth, moisturised and natural looking (I don't like balms that make my lips look shiny), and smells really lovely. I think I may prefer the other vanilla flavour though, so the current version (the Tropical Vanilla lip balm) will probably be my favourite. I'm going to order it now, for comparison :)

I finally received my package today! It always makes me mad that international customers get their packages faster than Canadians. Based on first impression, I like Barcelona better than St. Tropez (didn't get Stockholm). I almost didn't order Barcelona because the swatch looked orangey, but so far it looks the way I thought Bisou would look. St. Tropez is a nice nude colour but I find it too shimmery. Also, I have to dab it on with my fingers as the wand applies too much product, and I'd have to wipe it around a lot to even it out, which would not be too hygienic.

I don't think I will try the Tahitian lip balm, I'll will probably give it away. I can't afford to get hooked on it!

Will post again if my opinions change after wearing them more.
