It made my day to see all the posts.
It made my day that it was sunny and warm here.
Yesterday I bought a vintage dinette set and was able to get it off the truck and into my kitchen without help.
My family makes my day everyday.

It made my day...
...to be able to do my laundry without my washing machine leaking from underneath.
...to discover that my 90-lb dog now has a 'lovee', which is a fleece blanket that he has been chewing on gently to soothe himself (like a toddler with a pacifier). I guess that blanket is now his

It made my day to hear about this thread

Although, it doesn't surprise me one bit of Karen's generosity. The people in Haiti will be in my prayers.
It also made my day to be asked, " do you guys smell that? it smells like something good baking or something. " This coming from a young guy working at Best Buy.. It was my shampoo and body butter he was commenting on ! LOL.
It also made my day that my husband took me out for dinner just because I had spent the last 2 days painting.

My dog has made my day too. She is getting in much missed cuddle time at this very moment.

It made my day...
To work at a job where people actually tip well...
To come home to see my little dog curled up in a cute little ball...
To get a Mystery Adventure Club package on a day when changing jobs made money really tight...
Anytime I wear red as a statement color- a black outfit with red shoes or a red belt, bright red lipstick when i don't wear any other makeup
Coming home to a clean house because my hubby is awesome.
I am one very lucky girl, and it made my day to see that even a small makeup company will go the extra mile to make a difference- for one person...or for thousands

It made my day:
- to discover this thread
- to have breakfast with relatives that are travelling in this state (I moved away from my entire family 5 months ago and haven't seen them yet

I miss them a lot)
- to crawl back into bed when I got home from breakfast and have my boyfriend lift up the covers for me to snuggle closer, even though he was fast asleep (still snoring!!)
- to realise just how blessed I am in general

It made my day ...
... to be reading this message.
... to look at the less cluttered desk that I have spent the day cleaning and clearing.

This thread is awesome!
Things that make me smile lately:
-The play I am directing right now (high school theatre teacher) is going tremendously well, heading to be one of my best
-My husband still makes me smile with his silly humor
-The coffee that magically appears every morning (DH says it's from the coffee elves, but I think he wakes up and makes it for me)
-"Dancing Machine" by the Jackson 5, best workout song ever!
-My dog, Murray, who is currently hiding one of his chewie bones in the couch, where he has four others hidden as well.
Here is a link to see him when we first adopted him, he's a little more standard poodle-y now.
