Hi JenW!
I’ve been reading so much good about SN and especially your foundation. So I decided to give it a try and bought your Perfect Harmony kit, both medium and heavy coverage kit and a sample of peach foundation, thought it would be best to cover all my bases ha-ha
In the wintertime I’m quite pale, like everyone else I suppose, but when summer comes I tan very easy and get a reddish brown tone, without burning myself. I have blue-grayish eyes whit small flakes of green and gold in them. The veins on my arms are green bluish.
I´m adding some photos in different light, no artificial, both inside and outdoors. Thanks :D

So could you please help me with a mix that fits that would be great :)

What finish are you wanting? It might make sense to get the Perfect Harmony sample kit (includes Ebony, Warm Gold,Buttery Gold, and Olive) plus Peach, plus an additional White (because you are so fair).

The complete list of color bases that might work (if you want it all in one order) are Warm Gold, Buttery Gold, and Peach, with Ebony to tone them down in the cooler direction. The 'Golds' have a bit of golden that is absent in Peach. The only other thing that might fit is Yellow Booster....when the foundations get so fair, we sometimes need to add in a little more yellow. I really think you can skip the Yellow Booster for now.
I was thinking medium coverage so I think I'll get a sample kit whit the 5 base colors, a peach sample and ivory samples. Thanks a lot for your help!!

Sorry, I'm new to this forum and I think I posted my question in the wrong spot. I'm going to repost it here. I just received my first samples of silk natural foundations and I'm eager to find my foundation recipe. Does anyone know the recipe or where to start to find my recipe. I wear any of the following:

Everyday Minerals: Fairly Light Neutral
Lumeire: Light Medium Neutral in Veena Velvet

Thanks!

Fairly Light Neutral has ended up being a blend of Warm Gold, Ebony and White.

I think it works out to be about 1 Ebony scoop, half a Warm Gold scoop, and about 10-12 White.

Thanks, Jen! I can't wait to try it out. I'll let you know how it works!

I apologize for missing this, MarieH. Thank you for the gentle reminder. ;)
I do think Peach or Warm Gold. For Peach....0.5 Peach (eyeball this as close as you can): 6-8 Ivory (you may need more). For Warm Gold 1:8 or 9 in summer...there is a golden component to this that won't be quite right until Summer. I do think when you tan the Warm Gold will be better, but for Winter try Peach.

Jen,

I'm so sorry to bother you again. But I tried the olive base (1 olive-10 ivory) and it was too green. My husband even made a comment about how "sick" I looked. Then I tried 1 buttery gold to 6 ivory and it was too yellow. Should I add ebony or peach in the mix? Even though I have some yellow in my skin, it appears that I have a little peach in their as well. Ebony (1:9/10 ivory) tends to make me look ashy on its own. If I could somehow make a dupe of Lancome's Photogenic in Light Buff....that would be ideal!

Thank you so much for all of your help :D

Did you try Warm Gold? It is a little yellow, a little peach, and a little golden...1:8 should be close. I went back and checked your pics. I also think 1:10 in Olive is probably too dark. Olive as a base is much stronger and deeper than Ebony, almost twice as dark. In Ebony you would be around a 1:6. Buttery Gold would need to be about a 1:8. Our colors will look much lighter in the jar than other foundations (except maybe the Vegan Formula).

Jen,

Thank you for your quick response! I will try the suggestions you mentioned. Something is bound to work....I'll keep experimenting :D
