Most self-tanners make me turn orange and streaky. I have the best luck (I feel like I'm repeating myself) with salon brands: Australian Gold, Designer Skin. So I know what you mean about being super-pale and afraid of self-tanner.... based on my experience, that's a totally valid way to feel. FWIW, I LOVE Designer Skin's "Tinted Love" which is a daily moisturizer with a gradual tanner. I think it looks lovely, and not fake at all. I've tried lots, and only had luck with a few.

I'm late to this thread, but I would love a self tanner that did not break me out. From the low to the high end price it all happens... and the rash is nasty for a week. Karen have you made it yet?? I would love it and give it a try.
