MLH, I don't hate my face anymore! - Especially now that I've figured out how to do makeup better; I think I was accentuating the wrong things before and actually making it worse. I have eyelids now. Yay!

Lovely pics, Emma. I wish someone had put out this kind of message when I was younger. It would have at least helped with many of the body issues that I have had over the years. I have been very careful not to pass on the poor body image to my daughter and scouts. You go!

It reminds me of Operation Beautiful. There is a Facebook page devoted to it, though I came across it on their actual blog site. Basically, everyone leaves random post it notes all over the place (public bathrooms, shop windows, friend's cars, gym locker rooms) with affirming, positive messages encouraging people to see the beauty in themselves. My sister and I have left random post it note affirmations around our homes for the last few years, so when I came across the group I was ecstatic about it!!

Emma, you're gorgeous! Hopefully my big head indicates that I'm destined for greatness. Objectively, I know that I have a big head because hats are always too small for me. Most hats won't even fit on my head.

Your eyeshadow application is already beautiful. In case you want some more tutorials, a blog that is helpful for contouring Asian eyes with eyeshadow is Of Faces and Fingers. (I'm not affiliated with the blog.) I also adore her post on Undertones for Asians.
