lwoodall - great look! I have Swept Away and it doesn't look at all like that on me. Did you apply it sheerly? On me it's quite vibrant.

I just did a couple swipe across the upper and lower lip about the same as I do with all my lippies. I thought it did look vibrant that I thought maybe it was too cool for me. The color is fairly true in the pic though.

Oh, Swept Away looks gorgeous on you! That was the only lippie that I ended up sending back: my bf said I looked like a grandma wearing it, hehe.

I just got a sample of Thrills and Frills, and I'm considering FS, so pretty.

dont'cha love that brutal honesty My DH does that from time to time, but he is smart enough to know when it's ok to give me that brutal honesty.

I obviously have way too much makeup, because when I was looking for shades to wear I discovered these unopened, still in the little black organza bag. I really like them too. I will have to put them with all the shades I use often.

and thanks for the thumbs up on Swept Away I am just so used to seeing my peachy lippies and I wasn't sure what to think of it.

Cranky Pants had me laughing so hard. Swept Away looks great on you, not too cool at all. I noticed it in Jen's swatches and always wondered about it. I had Foxxy on my wish list, looks great, must get now The eye colors you have on are in my comfort zone, I have such a hard time getting away from browns. It really is a nice look.

I knew Hot Blooded looked GROSS on me when I asked my husband what color it was. The look on his face told me everything before he even opened his mouth. He said it looked orange. Guess I need to try another red...LOL!!!

I know they come up with some interesting names at The She Space.

Browns are my comfort zone too...I have been trying to break away. Thats why most of FOTD's are not browns, but it's really hard. They are always the first shades I pick up.

I had one of those moments with my kids and husband. I was trying on an ELF lippie and I thought it was going to be a sheer color, so I really slathered that stuff on. Turns out it was very pigment bright orange red shade, it was very in your face and definitely not my shade. Anyway, I got busy doing something else and forgot to take it off. The kids come home from school and I notice them looking at me kind of funny, but they don't say anything. Then my husband comes in a few minutes later and "holy s!@#, you didn't go out in public like that did you" It took me a second to figure out what he was talking about. He almost got it, until I realized what he was talking about

I love it when my husband is honest even if I want to punch him at the time. I hate hearing; "Oh, what??? Oh, looks good" or the dreaded "Looks good, can't even tell you have anything on" (mean while I look like a clown). I would rather hear, "YUCK, WHAT IS ON YOUR FACE" or at least "Not your best look". LOL!!!!

Another great look! The pink lip does look nice, and you can actually say, "I'm wearing CRANKY PANTS!"

Very nice Susan I lol'd at your dh, mine is the opposite, I say 'does this suit me' and he says 'I don't know what that means' and I say 'well just tell me if you like the colour of my lips' and he says 'I have no metric by which to assess them' - he is such a scientist sometimes, lol. I keep asking though, and he keeps avoiding answering

I never go for browns, even in situations where I should, my go-to shades are purple and green, but I like crazy combinations like orange and turquoise, or yellow and green, or pink and blue... I wore a neutral eye yesterday for the first time in weeks, because I was in a hurry and applied my makeup in the car, lol. It actually looked OK
