That looks like such a fun Friday eye! It looks great on you! I know that Poly isn't an everyday color, but it's really fun to see how you put that look together. In your honor I'm wearing Moonstone, Slate and Bone with just a hint of Quartzite. I made those colors nearly a year ago, and generally am thinking about 10 steps ahead testing new ones- and lately I've been on a glitter kick- so I went back to the SWN colors, and it's like catching up with an old friend. I forgot to bring my memory card to work today, but will try to post pics a little later when I get home.

Thank you Ghost, Karen and Mikie!
I am starting to find it isn''t as much of a stretch to go with color these days. I guess a gradual shift works out pretty well. I was also amazed at how the pics allowed me to see things I might do differently next time to make it better. Of course, it is all a little brighter in person.
Also, I can't wait to see Karen's pic with a neutral eye!!!!

Jen, I love this look on you. Don't be afraid of color, it may not be for everyday, but everyone needs to play and have fun some of the time.

Jen, it looks fantastic on you! And yes, you could wear it to the supermarket without getting funny looks - though probably a lot of glances in total admiration!
I'm so glad you're wearing more colour now - it really suits you - and you rock Poly!

Thanks Rhys and Hollis!
I wore it all day long and did not get one strange look! I am thinking of doing 'Fun Color Fridays' from now on!
It was defintiley fun, and definitely a 'pick me up'.

Jen, I don't do "fun color Fridays" but I do do a "Fun color day " once a week, Since I wear the tamer neutral shades to work all week, what ever day I end up being off , is a fun color day. I agree, it is a great pick me up, plus I've managed to come up with some combinations that I could tame down a bit and still wear to work.

Every day is fun color day at my makeup table. Hehe.
So here's what I wore yesterday:
allover shade/highlighter: Whisper
outer half of lid: blue shimmer color similar to Ocean and Poly mixed together
inner half of lid: Disco
above crease: matte pink similar to Petunia and Hint mixed together
I think this would have looked a little nicer with the blue shade in the crease but sometimes I am just afraid to use TOO much color.
It was dramatic and crazy but I think I made it make sense.
And here's another one to try:
allover shade/highlighter: Halo glow (I used another brand's bronzer in the lightest shade)
outer half of lid and crease: Siren glow OR any deep bronze-colored shadow
inner half of lid: Bling or any other goldish or yellow metallic you like
Be sure to use bronzer on your cheeks too, and something coppery or nude on your lips with this look. I am pale as a ghost but this still looked good on me! I dare you to try it!
I did another version of the sunkissed bronze thing where instead of the metallic gold, I did this:
allover shade/highlighter: Halo glow
outer half of lid: Grassroots Green (or other shimmery green)
inner half of lid: Siren glow or other deep bronze-colored shadow
That was a little more subdued and doable for a lot of different skin tones.
