Thank you! He's coming along wonderfully & adapting well. I believe you'll never find a better animal than if you let the animal pick *you*. The reason for the name change to Silky is because his coat is amazing! I've had both long-haired & short-haired cats in my day but have never run across a cat with both short-hair/long silky ones all mixed together,LOL! It's very strange! He looks like he has yorkie in him, ROFL! His tail has long silky fur, he has tufts of long fur inside his ears ~ he's very different looking!
Still taking things slowly. He *finally* jumped on my lap this morning (on his way to the windowsill,LOL) so that's a start....I've become part of the furniture to him. Michael keeps inviting him into the house (leaving the sunporch door ajar) but he's not ready yet. Slow & easy.
You gals have been a fabulous support system! Really appreciate all the advice & stories!
