JenK what a great idea. I'll give it a try. I'm waiting on the cream blushes that I ordered. I heard it helps keep your powder to stay on longer. In the summer it can fade fast on a hot humid day.

i'm not sure if these cream blushes are the same formula as the old loverly and wonderful cream blushes...
but if they are, i don't think you will like them as lippies. i tried it with loverly and wonderful, and as lippies they look very metallic, accentuate fine lines, and feel very drying. you can see pics of them on my lips on my vox page (see link below) to get an idea of what i'm referring to.
on the other hand, the lipsticks do work awesome as blushes.

My order arrived! Yay! Now, my silly question is how you use the cream blush with the mineral foundation? Over or under? Inquiring minds need to know so I don't waste my sample.

I use it over, after I have put on my foundation and powder, and maybe a light dusting of finishing powder on top, if you use finishing powder.

I used to love Stila's Convertible Color, until I started breaking out from the bismuth . . .. the lady at the counter showed me this technique. If you put foundation on top, you will just lose the color of the blush! Plus, putting it on top gives it a "foundation" to hold on to . . . at least that was how it was explained to me. Always worked, and that is what I did today when I tried Forever . . . . stayed wonderfully!

I actually use them both ways. I have a really bright pink MAC cream blush and I love to use underneath my foundation. It gives a really natural glow from within look. I think with a less pigmented blush you would lose the color but the super pigmented ones look great under my foundation. I dont know how well it would work with liquid foundation though.

Thanks, ladies! I just wasn't sure about putting a creamy product over the mineral make-up, but I will give it a try. I will also try putting it under; I guess it will depend on the level of pigmentation of the blush.

How do you apply the cream blushes? Just pat them on with fingertips? Blend? I have a couple of samples on the way (although they won't arrive for ages because I am in NZ) and I have never really used a cream blush before. A gel, but not a cream.

I gently touch my middle fingertip into the color and put 2-3 "dots" of color on my cheeks, in the area I want the color. Then, with same finger, I blend in a circular motion, circling upwards to blend the dots together. Does that help?! I know I was unsure about it until someone showed me how. I tried Forever yesterday, and it just took the smallest amount. . . . start with a little, because you can always add. If you get too much, you end up looking like the circus is in town!

Hi! I'm sorry I've been a little MIA this week.
I have a couple of things in the pipline about the bigger sizes of the lotions and mositurizers- hopefully I'll have better information soonish for you- I know you've been waiting MONTHS for me to "get the lead out" and put some things in bigger bottles.

The cream blushes are NOT eye or lip safe (which I will add to the description). They're made with cyclomethicone so they blend nicely over foundation without leaving oil marks (I tried a version with no cyclo and it was just a greasy mess over minerals), and they shouldn't have an oily residue. With that said, you're probably not going to keel over if you put a little on your lips to see how you like the color. It feels awful as a lippie (better to use a lippie as a blush than a blush as a lippie if you're multi tasking), but you could do a quick color check.

And for applying them- Zooeyblue is right- you just need literally a dot or 2, and then blend it with your fingers.
