I have my reservations about the quality of Twilight, but I enjoy the storyline and the movies just the same. The more previews I see the more team Jacob I go though- Taylor Lautner is very good looking. lol
Team Jacob. Totally. He is sooo cute in those previews. I can't wait!
Oh goodie more Edward for me - teehee
Yes I'm dressing it up as well - I'll be doing one of xsparkage's tutorials, violet vixen
http://www.xsparkage.com/?p=870 (I love me some purples) thinking this would look great with my foundation a little paler then normal, a very little bit of charming as blush and black dahlia as lippie (maybe some swank on top of that???). This combined with a very (almost black) dark purple glitter nail polish, black jeans, black top, black jacket and my fav black 'pointy toe' 2.5" heel ankle boots - hehehehehehe I can't wait

I've finished reading new moon again and I had the same feeling towards the end as I did the 1st time. Bella needs to throw a fit with Edward. Am I the only one who thinks this or am I just horrible to put Edward through more guilt for leaving Bella??????? I remember reading the book the 1st time, they're in her room and I kept thinking
"alright, any minute now she's going have a massive fit and slap Edward once" Kept reading
"okay she's not going to hit him, maybe she'll throw something at him. Heavy books maybe? Kept reading
"Is she at least going to throw a pillow at him???? I guess I was just expecting more of an intense reaction from Bella.
It would have been nice to see some sort of anger. Yes I know she loves Edward unconditionally and doesn't want to add to his guilt, but she could have at least thrown a pillow at him - hey maybe there'll do that in the film

Have to agree with Team Jacob. Oh baby he is quite attractive and makes me feel like what my daughter would call a creeper since he is my sons age

That's one of my problems with the books in general- Bella incredible self deprecation and lack of self worth. Drives me insane. I appreciate the books for what they are, but i do like the movie (soon to be movies) better than the book(s). I know I'm a rarity but I view twilight more as an enjoyable *teen* storyline (typical vampire romance) with really strong characters written by someone who isn't as strong at writing action as i would hope. The movies cut out a lot of the self deprecation and ya know- incorporated a very good looking cast. I'm hoping the overwhelming depression is curbed in the new moon movie too. I'm okay with the big traumatic event scene and some moping but then i want them to skip over her zombie stage and go right into her wrecklessness and fun friendship stage.

I am totally jealous! I am also not sure when I will make it to this one....DD goes this evening at a birthday party. It will just be cute to see if she can keep it all bottled up until I get a chance to see it.

Sooo, guess who is actually going to New Moon tomorrow?!? With friends?!? I'm so excited!!! My poor husband has to work tomorrow, but it allows me to see the movie with people who actually want to be there. We're going to an early lunch, and then the movie at 1:30. I can't wait!!!
Has anyone that has seen it want to tell me about it? Not in details of course, but I'd love to know if you thought it was good!

forewarning- the makeup is terrible- terrible enough to bother me. I don't know if it's because they filmed this one in warm lighting and the last one in cool lighting or if the makeup is just that bad. Last one the vampires were pale but gorgeous. This one...they clearly whitened the faces but not the neck and chest of most of the vampires, and Laurent is like greyish/bluish/zombie colored. It also waaaaay t-ed me off that Alice is wearing terrible clothes- she's supposed to be the height of fashion. I can only excuse it if Ashley Greene is pregnant and they're trying hide a baby bump. Otherwise- huge oversight on the poorly chosen wardrobe.
Wildrumor is that Breaking Dawn will be split into 2 or 3 films.
