Ahah! So I'm not imagining it! I was just telling a friend the other day VS does vanity sizing! How do I know? Because I've never been able to wear one of their bras...the DD cups are too small. Doesn't hurt my feeling too much though, my boobs wear Cacique bras from Lane Bryant. Their buy 2 get 2 sale twice a year keeps me in good supply! :D BUT, my sister who is literally half my size adores VS bras because she fills out the cup in her size much better than any other brand and the push up bras actually work!

As for chocolate, I found a sale on Guittard Dark Chocolate bars...mmmmm...heaven! I hide them in the cabinet way up high to keep them away from the dog AND because I forget they are there until I have a bad craving. I figure the energy it takes to hunt around the kitchen 'til I find them cancels out the calories of a square or two...;)

HI all

Thanks for all your messages guys they really keep me going sometimes *hugs & love all* Gots a ways to go but I'm going to get there, one less chocolate at a time

Okay it was weigh day yesterday and I've maintained my weight which is always good to hear. I knew the scale would say that this week because I've been doing a new exercise regime. Rosemary conley's shape up and salsacise, it's in 4 part on the disc:
1st part - 20 min easy to reach the moves
2nd part - 30min fat burning (put them together and you have a 50 min workout *sweat is thy friend*
3rd part - 10 min upper body tone up with a toning band (its a resistant band that really works)
4th part - 10 min tone up hip and thighs including toning band again

all in all this means using all new muscles meaning when I exercise the fat it turning into muscles. Good for toning the body not so good for the scale. Oh who am I kidding those scales are out to get me

It's all about the inches! I don't bother with scales so much now, my lack of movement has left me wobbly where I was once firm so they're luring me into a false sense of security ;)

But I know my waists up 2".... Ho hum!!

How easy are those exercise vids to keep up with?

Big hugs and loves right back atcha! x x

Keeping up with the dvd, it does take practice but once you've done it about 3 times you seem to remember the moves. But I think RC are the easiest ones to follow.

I started out with the dvd with Corrine Nolan which is in 6 sections of 10min each - good to start off with. Then I got her latest one I think it's called real results (it's a white cover with 6 women wearing blue standing with RC). This one is good it starts off with a 7 min warm up, then 23 workout, then two 10 min tone up things and two 5 min express ones. The shape up and salsacise is great if you want something that gets you moving and sweat without it felling like exercise but be warned it's 4 sections, first with 20 min (easy) salsa moves (it's not that easy when you first try it lol) then 30 min salsacising, put them together and you have a 50 min workout, then two 10 min toning part.

If you want to tone and move, go for the real results workout one, go for the shape up and salsacise if you want something that gets you moving but doesn’t seem like exercise, or go with the corrine nolan one if you want your workouts in 10 min sections. But it’s all RC so which every one you choose, it will get you moving, losing weight and feeling knackered LOl.

I just brought her other salsa dvd "slim and salsacise" will try that one when I get tired of the shape up and salsacise. I’ve heard the slim and salsacise is a killer. I thinks it's about a 4 part dvd, which is and whole hour of salsacising (who in the name invented the word salsacise, sounds so cheesey  )

good luck sarah and have fun

Wow!!!! You're both making great progress! The Salsasize sounds so goofy that it's probably a blast?!?! I love made-up words. I think I'm going to need it after vacation.

Hi ladies,

I've been starting a YouTube channel to keep track of my workout progress over the next few months and in the process I'm kind of posting how-to videos for things like push-ups, pull-ups, abs...next up I'm going to start adding in some sport rehab stretches that I do with my athletes at the clinic. I hope some people find it helpful but if not, no harm is doing it, right? :)

WOW feyith I when I'm fitter I want to do pull ups like yours. Aliens is my fav movie (of all time) and when I was a kid I always wanted to do those pull ups Vasquez does in the movie - too cool

OH that's so cool, yeah I live in good old gloucester. If you get the job we have to meet up for coffee and cake, I know all the best places of course. Thornton's has a coffee shop on top of the chocolate and you get a free chocolate with every drink and I love costa coffee in waterstones. Speaking of thornton, I just discovered (where have I been) that thornton does chocolate balls similar to lindt balls call 'melts' praline - they are 'magical'

My fingers are crossed for you getting that job but if you're too busy to meet up, I could always break a leg LOL
