wow! ordered my perfume samples late sat. night and they got to ohio today! even in a freakish huge snowstorm :D
i got the pink grapefruit, carribean therapy, delta, treasure, white ginger & amber, white linen, coco madmoiselle, tahiti, vera wang, petite cherie, of a woman, and nectarine blossom & honey...from a brief sniff of all of them, the last 4 are my favorite so far. scents are tricky though, i'll have to wear just one everyday to truly compare...i wish i could just all "swatch" them at the same time but that wouldn't work at all, heh heh.
if you are looking for a beautiful strong smell, try tahiti...it's nice. and i love treasure for my husband. i know it is unisex, but it smells a little more manly to me. he likes it too, will probably have to get him one for v-day :P

I got some today, too. I like the Pink Grapefruit, Petite Cherie, Tahiti and Of a Woman the best at first 'sniff'. I need to try all that I have like you said, to give them a chance. They smell much better on than they do in the bag! They release a much stronger bouquet with body heat.

Cool! I'm glad to hear that you like them! I do like the new scents a lot..can't really can't pick my fave either- but that's cool- I'm rotating them like lippies. A new addiction is born- you girls- I know you say I'm bad for your wallets, but you've all really gotten me hooked on a lot of things. I never even owned blush until someone asked for it (I have rosacea)- now I'm a blush ho and a half! The enabling comes full circle.

It is a good question about the vitamin C powder. When we sampled the Brush On Powder- I didn't get a whole lot of "wow" emails. Vineyard, Mogul, Sandy- pretty much all of the other GWP's got more requests. Unless I'm mistaken and you were wowed but not vocal- I think that's one we're going to skip. I have one that I whiz together for myself that I mix with lotion, and that one just needs some testing to make sure that most people get the same results from it that I do. I've tested it a lot locally, and people come back for it- but it hasn't gotten the global, across the board testing that it needs in order for me to feel comfortable releasing it as a full-fledged product. It's similar to Philosophy's Vitamin C turbo booster powder- you just mix a scoop in with lotion every moring or evening. If you want some- just let us, and we'll tuck it in with your order.

I'm so excited!! I'm not salaried just now so I'm on a strict budget and it's taken this long to agonize over which samples to try out (ahh, but I love it really!) I've chosen Karma, Annick Goutal, Tobacco Vanilla, Treasure, the Peacock Green eyeliner (and I needed an eyeliner brush and some Pout as well). I dived in the night these were launched and ordered Wildwoman & Heart Throb eyeshadows and Berry Nice gloss (and Tahiti as the perfume competition prize).

I wish I could send you so much more business, I really do. It's so great how Karen takes requests like this. Sending *hugs* for all that hard work, effort - and kindness.

I got my order today too! I ordered a F/S of Pink Grapefruit and chose Petite Cherie for the contest prize and I love them both. PC is a DEAD ON ringer for the real thing at 1/15th of the price. I don't know how you clone these fragrances, Karen but WOW! The Pink Grapefruit is very fresh and I think it will be great as a summer fragrance (summer?? What's that?!). I'm going to take this one w/me next month when we head south (Disney Cruise) for Winter Break. I also got samples of Caribbean, Miss Coco, Nectarine Blossom, Of a woman, Rasberry GA, Sexy Vanilla, White Ginger/Amber and Tahiti. Of those I really like Rasberry GA, Sexy V, and White Ginger/Amber. I'm going to have to swab my wrists w/each of them before I decide what to order in FS. Thanks again for an amazing Valentine's Day Collection!

I got my goodies!! USA to NW Scotland in record time. Now, ladies, you know me a bit by now... in all the years and in all the brands I've tried, I've never been so impressed with anything as I have with SN so I'm running out of superlatives ;) I just received the fragrance I (amongst others) requested - the Monoi / Tahiti / Gardenia scented one. To say it's better than I imagined and more than I hoped for is still an understatement - it's perfect. The composition warms radiantly and is so feminine. You know how perfume is such a personal thing, like a facet of the identity you show? I feel like I've found something special here and I hope the others who try it find it to be something special for them too. It's really quite special :)

By the way, everyone needs to go buy Wildcat eyeshadow. Just do it. Now. It's stunning, a cool brown with golden shimmer that makes a "just right" eyeliner.

Melange could be a clone of the Chanel quad "Vanites" colour, indescribably pitched between rose, lilac, fawn, and cool brown. I thought about mailing Karen my $60 discontinued compact with a begging letter to clone it but it's so precious I never even wear it, I just sit and look at it like Gollum in LOTR dribbling "My Preciousssss...". When (haha not "if" but when LOL) this gets added to the permanent collection (pretty, pretty please) I'd recommend selling it in 30g jars.

Heart Throb may be the reason God gave us eyelids.

Oh and just to complete the set... I found my HG lippy too - Berry Nice. Happy days. *sends hugs*

How would you compare Hearth Throb to Melange and Taffeta? I love my plums, just wondering :)

I wasn't good at applying it every night. I never did see remarkable results in a week's span. I had planned to do a longer trial but I never got around to it. Did anybody else use it consistently?

Edit: Just got Tahiti and Caribbean Therapy in the mail today!! Tahiti smells AMAZING. It is feminine without being overly floral and would smell nice on anyone. Caribbean Therapy is not *exactly* like Aveda's, but it is a nice spicy earthy fragrance!!

Also got Silver Mountain, Ezra, and Delta for my hubby. They are a gift for our dating anniversary which is Feb 7, so I haven't smelled them on him yet, but in the tube, they smell great!! Ezra is the most unisex of the three. I think it would smell nice on a lot of women. Delta is next most unisex, and Silver Mountain smells very much like a men's cologne. It could be worn by men of any age. It's a little heavier than the other two, smells kind of like Old Spice but a little more modern. Think of those Bath and Body Works men's scents they had - I think they were called things like Glacier and Mountain Bay and stuff like that.

Also - Amour and Sugar Plum both look GREAT on me and they are a fantastic texture this time!!

And - Melange is a beautiful purple/brown/gold color!!
