oh yes, seconded. Everytime DH finds a styling cream he likes, it gets discontinued. He just kind of spikes his hair, but not with wax. That and i'm slowly trying to convert him to SN. He already uses the kiss cleanser and with his xmas stocking this year, i've turned him into an SN lib lube convert. lol

Haha, yes, I'd adore a cleansing conditioner with the gluten free proteins in them Karen! Right now I'm using a cheap off brand, but I keep longingly drooling over the pic of your cleansing conditioner. A clean, light scent or unscented would be good (that way we can scent our own for those that are sensitive). I had a bad experience recently with a salon and wheat, barley, AND oat stuff in their products...and a stylist who thought gluten was sugar. And this was after I'd explained what gluten is and where it can be found.

I'd love a wave intensifying product...and know several curly girls who'd really love a great hair product that gives their waves/curl definition and lasts more than a few hours. The curly girls I know prefer to alternate washing days and want something that gives them good second day hair. Not sure how possible that is with natural products, but it would be super nice!! I have straight hair but it has some wave to it that comes out with the right product and I'd love to wear it that way more.

In addition to that, I'd like a heavy duty conditioning treatment/hair mask to use on occasion...

I bet a wave intensifying product combined with salt water would make a nice beach hair spray in the summer! :P Congrats on the new help, everyone wins when you have more time to create! :D

Sam just described my hair perfectly. I have fine ( so fine that it packs down) but really thick hair. I laugh that it actually takes me longer to blow dry and style my almost chin length bob, than it does to put on my make up in the mornings. My hair is very wavy from mid scalp down, and bone straight from the roots to mid scalp, I would love to be able to leave it wavy, but I usually end up looking like a bush lacy, since it tends to poof out except at the roots.

I would love a root lifter, so that I can get some volume at the crown instead of from the mid scalp down.

I origionaly asked for a deep conditioner/treatment mask similar to the Remoist from WEN, and I still really would like one. It is something I would only use about once a month, since to much conditioning and moisture makes my hair weigh down and have absolutely NO body, but I do need extra moisture, especially in the winter, when despite conditioner washing only, I still battle static "fly away hair".

I haven't tried the new cleansing conditioner yet, as Karen said it's not really for thick hair. I have been co-washing my hair for about 8 months with Suave Naturals Almond and Shea Butter, and have had excellent results.
My hair is very, very thick and dry.....and very heavy, even if it's not really very long(between my chin and my shoulders).
The ingredients are pretty good....I think there might be some 'cones, but no sulfates. It smells great, and I can get a 32 oz bottle at Walmart for $2.79 that last me a month.
I'd love to try a more moisturizing version of Karen's conditioner......but since I use palmfuls, the cost might be a little prohabitive.
I would also love some sort of root lifter for body at the crown.
Oh, and I love Cupcake's idea for a scalp spot treatment!
Thanks,
Laurie

Shine serum/treatment oil
I have thick, coarse hair that is getting dryer by the day - I've backed off on my heat styling to try & combat this. Natural oils - argan, moroccan, etc. would be right up my alley.

Go on, laugh, I still do when I think about it! It was so absurd, and at one of those top brand "concept" salons too. They even called said brands' hotline to ask what would be safe for me to use and were told to use the "allergy free/sensitive" formula...which, of course, had wheat in it. And people wonder why I go 6 months without a haircut so I can just let my sister cut it when we visit.

I'd love a "root lifter" product!

Laurie, I too use handfuls of cheap conditioner to cleanse my hair! V05 though, blackberry sage...mmmm... I thought I'd read some who have tried SN's cleansing conditioner are getting good results with less conditioner, so I'm hoping maybe that's a good sign?? :D

I'm having the same problem. The ends are especially dry. My hair is thick, coarse, and about mid back length.

Does the Salon begin w/ an "A"? If so, that is where I go about 2-3 times a years. The scent in some on their products is deadly.
