Also Holland & Barret will have Rose Water (and other waters), and in a pinch, M&S also have rose water in their cooking section. This stuff is pretty easy to find.
Hollan & Barret will also have veg glycerine.
I got mine from iherb, fantastic value, but you'd not get it in time I think...although their DHL service arrives in 2 days...

I'm seriously considering ordering from iherb.comb but I know I'll never recieve it in-time to have preparation of using and playing around with stuff..
I've been to three different Hollands & Barretts (all quite small btw) three different Boots (one was quite big, the other was just a pharmacy) spent a few minutes heavily browsing their websites - even checked the M&S website, and some random cooking shop - and I honestly cannot for the life of me find a brick&mortor shop that sells glycerin or any kind of florwal water. I don't think there's any multicultural places close-by here either..
(I was also looking for castor oil for the OCM but I was too shy to ask)

Gorgeous dress! And I'm sure you'll look fab. It really really doesn't take a lot of foundation. Or a lot of moisturiser - put the moisturiser on (just a pea size should be enough) when your skin is still wet from the Pore Refining Toner, then let it dry well, and you should be good to start doing your makeup.

I am a HUGE fan of PRT for setting makeup. There is nothing I've used that's like it at all. Plus it smells really lovely, too.

I don't think rose water is mission critical...don't panic. It smells lovely, but the stuff in the Indian or Middle Eastern markets usually isn't real distilled rose water- it's usually water, with some rose flavor. If you're worried about redness skip the glycerin. Nerves, booze and glycerin are a recipe for blotch-city. Plain old tap water should work just fine...or diluting the Pore Refining toner could work too.

Oh, Karen, I've been so worked-up about application of MMU that I forgot some important things - SHOES AND ACCESORIES!!

I just realised I don't have anything else to wear with this dress! Goodness me I'm as bad as make-up as I am with fashion!

Ballet flats or a little kitten heel could be fantastic- or go crazy with some stilettos (but it looks like the car park could be tough to navigate in winter in heels) I'm really tall and really clutzy- so I try to go with some sort of flats. You're most likely more graceful than I am. The one thing I try to avoid is ankle straps- they make your legs look shorter.

Don't forget a pashmina for your shoulders!

Tee-hee! I'm 5ft 1 I may go for little heels, maybe open-peep toes ones (poor cold feet!). I'd wear ballet flats if the dress were -just- below my knees, but it''s below and then some!

Pashminas look gorgeous. I was thinking of adding a little colour to eye my make-up, nude lips, so I''m not entirely monotone, but I can't decide - whatever colour I do decide, do you think I should link it to the same colour as my pashmina/cardigan or should it just be black & silver attire + mu & access.?

Oh this is fun! Just compliment your face- a black dress is a great canvas for anything. I usually pick my blush first, and then build the look around that. Blush is the hardest thing to fix if you don't grab the right color- so I start there, and the rest is easy to tweak, blend and modify. If you're having your pics taken lighter eyes tend to look better than very deep smokey eyes in regular party pics.
