Silk Naturals

Hi everyone!

I'm new too! I lurk around most of the time at the EDM forum and here.

With so many new members, I think the SN forum will be very lively from now on.
Big thanks to JenW and others for helping me figure out my foundation mix when I got my samples a few weeks back.

Hi Karen! Thanks for the warm welcome. You're spoiling us though, I ordered Sunday night and it was shipped Monday morning Wow! I kinda want to order more right now...haha

Yay! I'm so glad so many of my EDM friends are discovering silk naturals! I joined about a year ago, and I've been really enjoying Silk Naturals products. I've been busy with school so I haven't been participating much on this forum or on EDMs, but when I would check in over at EDM, it always seemed like chaos. New sites (that were harder to navigate than the old ones) and discontinuing products without warning seem to be the biggest problems for most long time users. The owner can certainly choose to run her business whichever way she pleases, but I'm much happier here, where Karen is so sweet and involved

I haven't treated myself to some makeup in awhile. I've been letting my paypal balance go up though, and will probably make an order this week. Two of the cream eyeliners are in my cart, as well as rhapsody (a black label lippie, since it's winter time!) and the bha and the aha toner, and the oatmeal hydrating serum. I'm going to go ahead and get Idolize as my free shadow, since everyone is raving about it--and maybe I'll be able to stop there?

I know I won't be waiting as long to order again though! Now that I've finally found a job, I feel a bit better about spending money on myself. I'm also in school, which means that the stress leads me to find ways to "treat" myself often

Glad to see everyone here, as well as be back amongst my silk naturals friends!

Thanks Jen, nice to ave a wole bunch of new things to look at too.. I cant wait to try your stuff, pity the mail aint coming today otherwise i think my package would be.. patience.

Thanks! I'm new here too and am having fun looking around at all the goodies to fill my cart with! I hope to place an order by weeks end:) Now that I have some good suggestions on Foundation color, I get to have fun with all the other stuff! And isn't everyone proud, I managed to shrink a pic enough to make it my avatar!! I've come a long way!!!!

And Eliz, how did yoy shrink your picture? I can't get it that small!!

What a warm welcome! I hope all the SN ladies won't mind the huge influx of new members (mainly from the "other" forum I am sure) but I wouldn't have migrated without all the great things everyone was saying about SN! I have yet to try anything from here, but I am excited to try some things out!

And Eliz, how did yoy shrink your picture? I can't get it that small!!

I use a macbook. I put the pic on my desktop, double clicked on it and then pressed the Tools button and it said, Adjust pic size and from there I just filled in one box with a number and it would automatically fill in the other boxes. had to do it a few times to get it small enough! Now I'm sure that's a convoluted way but hope it helps someone!LOL!

I just wanted to say hi, too . I've been following this forum for the past few weeks, and I'm excited to try SN products! I got my first order in the morning, and love every single item! I tried mixing my foundation, and it just feels so silky it's unreal (it felt a little like as if the brush was wet?). I'm totally hooked, I'm waiting for one order now, and I think I will place a new one on Friday (once gwp eye shadows change).
