Here's one of my absolutely favourite tricks, doubling up SN Blush as a gloss. And Cosmic is an incredibly pretty gloss!

Oh, pretty nifty! I've been trying to use the blushes with a lipstick brush over clear lippie, but it wasn't too convenient when it came to re-applying. Clear gloss is the way to go, thanks for sharing! And yes, Cosmic is very pretty, and looks great on your lips

WOW I am totally getting centerfold now!!! Egerandi you look so pretty!!!! I was wondering without centerfold on are your lips pretty pigmented?? Are they naturally darker? I am wondering how it will look on me. Thanks!

Thanks Yes, my lips are quite pigmented, I think. I have some of the sheer SN lippies, and they show up darker than I would have expected. I would call my lips dusky rose. I did a search on google for that color, and this is really close what my lips loop like (although slightly lighter than this): http://www.colourlovers.com/color/C06078/dusky_rose

Centerfold is a good neutral pink/tank, you should get it

Oh thanks Egerandi, I would say that my lips are about the exact same color so I am for sure getting centerfold. Hey have you tried the Modern Poet by any chance? If you have how do you like it? Or if you don't mind what are your favs from SN (for your lips)? Thanks!

I do have Modern Poet, and it looks nice layered over Centerfold. I don't wear it too often though; somehow brownish nudes don't suit me, kinda wash me out. I prefer Ice Princess for layering over MP, or even by itself. It's a very subtle pink on my lips with lots of sparkle. I wear Soft a lot, It's first one I had to get a replacement for, and I really like the lighter version, Bloom. I've been wearing Maiden a lot lately too (sometimes I top it with Rouge), it almost perfectly matches my lips. If I want to go the warmer side, I use Precious, Darling or Mirabelle, depending on what I wear. I also love reds: own Reddy, Hot Bloded and Platinum Red as well, sometimes layered with Rouge. Another fav of mine is layering Rapture or Fearless with Damsel for an extra kick - not for work, hehe. I think Rapture and Fearless are gone for now, but they may come back again.
Oh, and if Sparkle ever comes back, I would suggest you pick a couple - it's really good to tone down your lip color.

What didn't work for me was Swept Away, and I don't wear Sweet Nothing much, it's just too dark on me, reminds me of 90's lips

Thanks Egerandi, I am going to try ice princess, modern poet, and centerfold for now. I still have not found a red that I like on me but in my next order I will take some of your recommendations. I want to try soft and bloom too, I think that I might add one of them in there as well. I have been eyeing soft and pout for a long time too and was thinking of trying one of them. The ones I have and love are Maiden, Precious, and Gold Blush. I was thinking about trying Berry Crush (I think it's name...it's the MAC dupe) but have seen swatches of it and it looks pretty pink for my taste do you own that one is it really reddish pink?

I would really recommend Soft I have Pout as well, and I wear Soft more often. Pout is more like a 'night on the town pink' for me.

If you like Gold Blush, I think you'll like this one too. There is a swatch at http://www.silknaturals.com/forum/viewt ... 67&start=0 towards the middle of the page. But, you may be thinking Berry Nice? That looks more of a reddish pink to me.

Yea, Berry Crush was the one I was talking about. Okay so I am going to get Soft, Centerfold, Ice princess, modern poet, and I think that I might try bloom too...maybe. I will let you know how I like them all. Thanks again for all your help! Tia
