Thanks Jen, I'm placing an order tomorrow! By chance do you know anything of SN's that is the same or similar to EDM Multitasking Concealer that I can throw in my cart? It does wonders for covering my scars but I really want to move to ALL SN:) Thanks again and Happy Thanksgiving!!

The green concealer works well for red spots and scars. For other concealing, I use a mixture of heavy base to my regular color and apply it with a concealer brush. You want to pat it on, not "buff". You can also try it wet. My normal ratio is 1 ebony-1/2 peach-10 medium (for winter); I mixed 1 ebony-1/2 peach to 8 heavy base and it works great. I bought a refill bag of the heavy powder base and use it only for concealer, mixing it in a blush-size container. Should last me forever!!

Okay, here's my foundation mix. I used Ebony and the Heavy Ivory, 1:3. Now, in my opinion, I think I have it dead on. However, I would like to get a second opinion so here's a couple of pics with me wearing it half face. The right side is bare while the left is wearing my mix. I'm standing near a window with sunlight.
What do you guys think? Do I have it?
By the way, this was soooooo much easier than when I tried to find my match with EDM! I spent a ton on samples, and nothing ever matched. Plus, I don't have to deal with it looking cakey or powdery, even with the heavy coverage. I wish I found you guys a long time ago!

Chrystalyte...
I call that a great match....I had to read what you wrote over and over about which side had the mix on it.....I could not tell a difference in the color. Great job!!!! The other cool thing....if you ever decided it is not quite right, you can fix it!

Awesome! I'm so proud of myself.
One more thing, I ordered a sample of Sleep In A Jar Medium and I can tell by just looking at the jar that it's way too dark. Can you tell me which would be better, Light Peach or Extra Light Peach?
Thanks!

Okay! I'm hoping to make an order and was contemplating which shades of foundation to get. I'm probably gonna play it safe and just order the sample kit, but any ideas about my shade(s) would be very appreciated!!!

Hi!
I don`t usually post, but I could use some help. I`ve been using EDM:s multi-tasking or cool fair base in intensive, so I should go with ebony, shouldn`t I? And medium coverage as I have some acne and scarring I`d like to hide.
In my whole life, I`ve never been able to pick a good lipstick, do you have any ideas? I would simply like to get them a tad redder, but not to strong since I feel that my eyes disappear then, as they are really light. Usually I only wear some kind of chapstick -I am an addict- my lips get dry fast.
Any ideas for rouge? Without shimmer. EDM:s once and again has worked, but it would be nice with something in the same base as the foundation.Trying to add a picture...

I'm assuming you are correct on your ebony assumption, but don't quote me on that. I would wait for one of the foundation experts to chime in on that one.
I wear Sandy Fair in EDM, and I have both Flirt and Embrace blushes in SN. They are both matte, and they are both described as neutrals. Lady, Petal, and Tart Light are all three listed as cool-toned, matte blushes, so those would probably be good places to start too.
I'm not touching the lipstick question because I don't generally wear lipstick, and I don't have any from SN. I'm sure someone else will be able to chime in and help.

I got my order today! Woo hoo!!!
Jen - I took your sister's formula of 12 ivory/1 warm gold, and it seems to look pretty good. My current mix may be a tad bit too dark, so I might add a little more ivory before I try it again, but I'm pleased. I was honestly shocked that warm gold worked because I was thinking I would be more ebony (my future MIL says I burn when someone turns on a light

). I might experiment with adding some ebony later, but for right now I'm pretty pleased.
Now my question is how to convert this mix into the medium formula and your suggestion for a concealer mix using the heavy coverage formula.

I think I want my foundation coverage a little heavier, and I can't get by without concealer (darn acne).
Thanks Jen (or any other ladies that jump in with suggestions - any and all are welcome!)!
