Nope...same formula. The less pigment a color has the more moisture it can provide. Genuine doesn't have much pigment so it probably feels a bit different. The feel of the vegan formula seems to change quite a bit from color to color...ones with beeswax seem to be a bit more immune to that effect.

Yep, I've found that to be the case too. The more shimmer and pigmentation the lip gloss has, the less moisturizing it feels on my lips. That's why I try to choose ones that have no shimmer and on the sheer side because I love how moisturizing they are on.
