I was a close match to sandy medium in everyday minerals but it was too dark thanks again for any help you have I really love to find my receipe because I like this company
I still think Buttery Gold might work, but more like 1:8...the too ashy part was the hint I used for that.
Peach base is a pinky peach more than a yellow peach. It might still work because Warm Gold is more of a yellow peach. Peach is incredibly concentrated color. You might work out to 1 scoop color to about 15 or more white. (My daughter is a Peach at 1:30...she is fairer in comparison to me.)

Needing more orange means it is probably not dark enough (maybe try 1:7). One question I have....did you leave it on your face for a while? The colors do darken a little as they mix with the oils in your skin. It should go on a little too light.

Yes I did leave on for half the day and it really does get darker after you put it on because I compared to another color I use while still in the jar and its really light. The only problem I have is that I thought the same thing about it being too light so I tried 1:7 and its the right dark but needs more peach(I ordered the Ivory and Heavy Sample Kits but peach doesnt come in those right?)I will keep trying

The Peach does come separately.

Hi! I just ordered a few different sample kits so I could try out the different bases and coverages. I have NO idea where to start. We lived in Hawaii for a few years and recently moved to Virginia. I've lost a lot of color over the course of this winter and my makeup is no longer the right color. It's been a while since I've had to find something new. I have BE Golden Fair, which is a little too yellow, and BE Medium Beige, which is too orange. I think the Summer Bisque is good, but maybe just a little too dark right now. I have brown hair and blue eyes and have a hard time finding a good match. I tried Everyday Minerals a few years ago, but got frustrated trying to find a match and gave up.
I ordered the original, medium, and heavy coverage, hoping to make the heavy coverage a concealer and use the original all over. It sounds like I'll need to mix different amounts for the original and heavy coverages. Any idea on where to start? I'll post pictures later this week, when I get my order. Thanks!

I think I would start with Ebony. Try 1 scoop color to about 6 white scoops. If this one does not work...try to get an idea of what is missing and we can adjust from there.

Is that for the original coverage?

All bases will all be pretty close. Within a few scoops of white of each other.

Thanks Jen! Can't wait to start mixing.
