adrianarami-

I think Olive or Buttery Gold. Olive will be 1 scoop color and close to 10 white.....Buttery Gold will be 1 scoop color to about 5 white.

I would try Original first.

Just curious....my foundation looks fine in natural/indoor light etc and is a good match, but not under camera flash (I look like a ghost!), any ideas why?
Thanks

Minerals are reflective. If the camera uses a flash, the minerals reflect that light making you look like a ghost. More matte finishes work better for photography.

All Purpose uses the simplest ingredients and is vegan. It is recommended for sensitive and dry skin. It has about the same coverage as our Medium Coverage...meaning it has a little more coverage than Original.

Original is light coverage with some ingredients to help with smoothing and minimal oil control.

Original was our first formulation...and All Purpose was added for those who wanted simpler ingredients.

Hi there! I'd really love some help with formula-making (Jen, I've heard rave reviews about your matching skills!)... I've never done this before, but am both picky about colors (I paint) and have no clue where to start. :( I uploaded a composite here (natural light photos on top; evening/indoors/flash on bottom--with cropped surrounding skin tones for context). In all, I am wearing no foundation, but a little blush.

Also, any advice re: Original Ivory v. All Purpose? I'd like to have the option of mixing with my moisturizer/primer (I use Embryolisse), which suggests AP--but my skin is oily and though the Embryolisse seems to control shine well, I don't know if I should try to add shine control via Original. (I like a natural look and don't want to be "visibly wearing foundation.")

Thanks so much!

Olive or Buttery Gold...... Buttery Gold is probably the best place to start at 1 scoop color to 6 or 7 white. In Olive, you will be a 1 scoop color to about 9 -11 white. If the Buttery Gold is too yellow, you might need Olive. If it seems too dark/orangeish, you need more white in your ratio. I think once you try a mix, you will be able to see what needs changing. Olive is not particularly green, it is more neutral on the warm side.

For Original to All Purpose....I prefer Original. There is a small amount of oil control built in. As for mixing with a moisturizer, it can be done, but I recommend not premixing. Premixing usually just separates the moisturizer (especially with a larger amount of powder...small amounts of powder might work, but it might not be worth messing up a large amount of moisturizer). Just mix as you use it.

Let me know if you need more help...
